An outstanding hotel which provides an excellent accommodation, outstanding service and hospitality and great food.
The hotel's facilities such as the swimming pool are world class. The best was the English speaking guide Mr. Tim who was recommended by the hotel. He guided us to the temples and carries amazing knowledge and great personality which are impressive and so pleasant.

We liked our stay at the Raffles, the staff is very helpful, pleasant, they found my ipad and returned it to me. Thats big in my book. Their honest. As I mentioned in my review of the hotel in Phenom Penh, I think the company needs to update their rooms, they are very dated, hard to unpack in these rooms, which makes it even harder to find all your stuff easily. The spa was great, wonderful massages, beautiful pool. It was hot and humid, so the pool was definitely a big plus. Concierge staff was helpful and booked all our dinner reservations.

Regardless of your purse, dinner or high tea should be a fun and diverting activity away from the hustle and crowds of the tourist and historical areas. The understated ambiance of the hotel, and dining, bar areas combine with the gracious courtesy of the staff, and reflect the Raffles traditions throughout SE Asia. We enjoyed high tea for a quiet afternoon, strolled the grounds and shops at the hotel. Mellow day all around.

Most of everything has been said by others but I can't resist adding to the lists of superlatives. Coming to Raffles Siem Reap is a statement in itself as there are many other high quality hotels here but ... there is only one Grand Hotel d'Angkor. Of course if what you require of a stay, that will no doubt, include a hot day of temples, is a modern hotel with all the 21st century trappings then probably this will not be for you. If you prefer quietude and life taken at a more sedate pace then you might consider this as your residence of choice. We stayed for a couple of nights, enjoyed a wonderful dinner one of the evenings, and, yes, also enjoyed the splendour of Angkor Wat.
