We had a long flight to Cambodia with layovers and had requested the hotel for early checkin if possible. It's absolutely fine if they just plain out said that it couldn't happen due to their policy or whatever, but instead they kept saying it'll happen in two hours, then an hour and another hour, till it was 2pm - the actual check in time. So instead of leaving our bags and roaming the city, we sat in their mosquito infested lobby waiting for our rooms for nearly 3-4 hours... And this while the hotel was clearly half empty! Besides this one incident, they were otherwise very impersonal too... so we left and moved to another place after 2 nights. The rooms otherwise are simple and nice, though very little light comes in on the ground floor. Also the location is quite good, close to the fun areas and yet quiet.

Super good value for money and excellent location. However there are construction works going on in the hotel next door and therefore it was quiet noisy. Not the hotels fault. We had room 107 ground floor in the back which was a bit damp but not mouldy. Breakfast could be improved a little bit (no fruit served with the muesli) & our packed breakfast we took when seeing the sunrise at Angkor war really a little bit disappointing (3 slices of toast each, 1 butter, 1 jam). Loved the decor of the hotel. Would book again as the location was so good.

The hotel is located conveniently within walking distance (3 minutes) to the Old Market, Pub Street, Night Market area. It looks small outside but actually quite spacious inside. The hotel has a boutique-y feel to it and is thoughtfully designed. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast served at the hotel restaurant but packed breakfast (for guests who left early for temple visits) could be improved. Friendly and helpful staff.

Medamrei is very well situated, right beside the bus station and next to the “busy triangle” consisting of pub street and the night market. Since it is not in the triangle itself, it still remains a quiet space.
Staff was super friendly and bed was comfortable!

Despite not looking quite the same in photos on booking.com this hotel was definitely good value for money. The location is just in the edge of busy pub street so easy access to things without all the noise. Rooms are basic with TV and air conditioning but clean and beds are not too hard. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
