We stayed in the Palace Villas, which is part of the Angkor Palace resort.
It was a great stay. The staff was so attentive and helpful from the moment we stepped in the door. Their welcome is awesome and relaxing.
We had a triple room whch was three real beds. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The wifi was somewhat slow at times, but still usable.
The rate included a breakfast buffet was very large and had many different international offerings. On our second day, we had a tour that left at 5 am and upon request, they packed a small box with pastries, fruit and water.
The pool is large and nice to cool off after a hot day visiting Angkor Wat. The drinks at the pool bar seemed iffy and pricey. Maybe stick to beer.
The location is close to the airport and also downtown/Pub Street area. It was a $3-$5 tuk tuk ride. If you want to ride the shuttle downtown at 7 pm , book early. It was booked when we wanted to go but the Tuk Tuks are right there and so inexpensive, it's not a problem. Plus, the tuktuks take you exactly where you want to go.
They also offer transportation to and from the airport but we didn't need that as we had a tour guide that offered that.
I would definetly stay here if I come back to Siem Reap.More
