Dr. Beat Richner has dedicated his life to the children of Cambodia. On every saturday at 19.15 Dr. Beat Richner is playing Cello and telling about the current situation of his hospitals in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. They also show a movie where you can see how the hospital works and they explain what kind of diseases they treat. The hospital is financed by 90% through donations and the treatments are free for every child in Cambodia.
Dr. Richners work is so impressive and we felt deeply touched by his work.
We recommend highly going to this concert, enjoy the music, get to know about Dr. Richners work and giving a donation.

Dr Beat is a very inspiring and courageous person. I was deeply moved by the moment he shared with us. This man dedicated his life to the Cambodian children. Waste less on restaurants for 2 days and make a donation... the doctor is doing a wonderful job!

Simply beautiful! The story of this Doctor and cellist inspire and give hope! Alternance of music, talks and movie projection makes this concert very unique.

If you happen to be in town when this is on you should go there.
While it is not a real "show" it is very interesting and you learn something about Cambodia that you would otherwise not hear about.

Beat Richner is a Swiss doctor who has committed his life to the health of kids in Cambodia. He has huge heart and an ego to match it which is not negative but I guess a necessity in order to achieve what he has done in Cambodia basically running the entire national network of children's hospitals.

The guy is quite special but what he has done is even more special and well worth supporting.
