Dr Beat Richter himself plays the cello, and meantime tells the story of the children's hospital. He speaks frankly not avoiding his difficult relationship with the Hun Sen regime, the hypocrisy in institutions like the WHO etc...
Free, but value for money!

I have been living here for almost 6 years but never thought to visit Beatocello. I was then given the chance to go last Saturday and we watched the concert of Dr. Beat Richner. It was very inspiring to know what he has done to the Cambodian people!

So, if you are traveling, this is a MUST to be included on your itinerary. This is every Saturday at 7PM and the admission is free!

This is a 45 minute film. Not a concert. Very moving and 100% worth going. Take cash to donate, as you will want to once you've seen the film and understand what the French man has done over the last 30 years for Cambodian wellbeing and medicine. Incredible!!

The free concert is held every saturday at 7:15 pm. Dr. Richner/ Beatocello is a Swiss pediatrician who helped build a lot of Children's Hospital in Cambodia. During the 1-1 1/2 hour concert- he will play the cello, talk about the poor health care system in Cambodia and how everyone can help by donating money or blood for the kids. His works is really inspiring. This is a must do when in Siem Reap to help these kids.

A must for any traveller in Siem Reap . A great lesson in the history behind Cambodia's current health situation and the success in Dr Beat Richner establishing 5 children's hospitals in Cambodia . Great music , enlightening history leaving you reflecting for hours and days . Any cash donation or blood donation is greatly appreciated . Don't miss this concert - an unforgettable insight into Childrens health in Cambodia by surely one of the most influential people in modern Cambodia.
