Just had the most relaxing and wonderful 4-nights stay at Siem Reap thanks to the Grand Elysee team. Here goes:

1) Room
We made a direct booking on their website and opted for penthouse suite for three of us (one king bed + two single beds). Room was super clean and incredibly spacious. It has a separate toilet and bathroom which makes it convenient. Bathroom has a lovely bathtub and rain shower with good water pressure.

We are also blessed with a JBL speaker in the room which is amazing... easy to connect to our phone and allowed us to play our favourite tunes in the morning/ night. Wifi speed was OK although some of us have data plans (bought SIM card at the airport) so we used that as well.

It has a really nice and spacious balcony that was used by my friend to suntan when the pool was full.

Cleaning was done meticulously and they did turn-down service as well - that was a nice touch.

2) Service
Staff could not be more helpful. They were kind and although some of them are admittedly slightly weaker in English, they tried their best to accommodate to your requests. General Manager Sophal did a good job in leading his team to deliver excellence in their service.

3) Others
They offer free pick up (which we learnt not to take for granted) from the airport. More often than not, there's a tuktuk parked outside of the hotel that could take you to the Old Market (USD2). The only thing that was below my expectation was the spa - but I'll leave it to another review.

Thank you Sophal and team for a delightful stay - will recommend this hotel to our family & friends!

Brand new hotel located on the “quiet side” of the river. Easy walk into the center of Siem Reap (Tuk Turks are always around across the street) but plenty of great restaurants, yoga and stores in this area.

The hotel itself is an amazing value. Large, well appointed rooms, excellent, diverse breakfast and a staff that cannot be more accommodating! The spa and pool are lovely too.

If you’re looking for a boutique experience in a great location and accessible to the madness, this is your spot!

Stayed just 2 nights at this hotel and wished we had booked for longer. Super friendly staff, always smiling and happy to assist at all times. We booked a "cabana room" which happened to be on the ground floor.....massive bonus as you opened the patio doors and were literally 10 steps to the pool ! The room was very spacious and came with all the mod cons. Had a massage at the Spa as it was half price for guests and it was well worth it....very relaxing after a long day visiting many temples !

The team at Grand Elysee sets the gold standard for what service and hospitality should be. We were amazed at how well the team took care of us -- from arranging us a perfect day at Angkor Watt, to helping us find the perfect meals, to making sure our logistics were taken care of, we were always in good hands. Rose, in particular, is a super star and made our trip one we'll always remember. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, clean and vibrant. It's a great base to go and explore Siem Reap from. Absolutely recommend staying here.

Room tip: Over-communicate w/ the team before arriving to ensure your logistics are handled, things book up due to popularity of Siem Reap.

We spent 5 days at this wonderful boutique hotel. Cambodians by nature are gracious, polite, and pleasant. Add these qualities to a well trained, eager to please staff that go out of their way to make sure guests are content and one's every need is met. The smiles, greetings and concern for your welfare make one feel very special. Great ambience, and a wonderful place to return to after a day's adventures. Thanks you all for making our stay one to remember.
