Lovely place to stay, a little way outside the centre of Siem Reap. Tin and his family were lovely, and very helpful. Tin was able to book taxis or tuk-tuk if we needed one, and also offers driven tours of some of the further afield temples for reasonable prices.
Breakfasts were a mixture of more western foods and local food, really nice to try out! One of the mornings. we left very early to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat, Tin offered to make us a packed lunch instead of breakfast.
There's a small undercover patio with a table and chairs for eating breakfast or sitting out in the evening, and a corner shop about 100m away selling basic items (drinks and snacks). Very pleasant to sit outside the in the evening with a beer. The accommodation currently has a cool box with ice available from Tin for keeping items cool.
The accommodation is a short tuk-tuk ride away from the centre of Siem Reap, but still within walking distance of a number of great places to eat, such as the Peace Cafe or Marum Restaurant, and also the Angkor National Museum.
It's nice to stay with someone local, rather than staying in westernised hotel.
Great home, fantastic host. Tin was extremely helpful! he was a great driver and very friendly. if you're nervous about anything in travelling to Cambodia, put your fears at rest as Tin can help you with just about anything. we loved everything about our stay, and wish we could have had a few extra days.
Such a warm and cosy place with very attentive and hospitable hosts. They took care of our every need. We had all the privacy . And had a great stay. Very clean and neat place. I would highly recommend this place .
It was very very very super stay! Tin is superhost. The room is clean. The food cooked by Tin's wife was also good. Even more, he took us on tour to temples and that was really smart idea: getting into aircon car between temples while its 38c degree outside.
