When you enter the hotel you are greeted with great smiles and in fluent english. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Banjamin is going out of his way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The manager himself takes time to help you to find a store or whatever. The hotel is located in a quiet area overlooking the Lake. All rooms face the water. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated with bolivian/andean textile crafts. It is refreshing and befitting to be surrounded in an atmosphere of tasteful andean decorations. The beds are very cozy and one can open the window for fresh air. The hotel offers fast working internet access. A balcony offers places to sit and watch the sunset over the lake. This is not all, the food the kitchen produces is outstanding. Wonderfully plated and very tasty creations are served by a very friendly and well trained staff. If there is a bus load of people the waiting time is a bit long but well worth waiting. Overall, this hotel is top notch.

A lovely oasis. Spacious rooms with lots of convenient outlets for electricity hungry travelers. Spotlessly clean. Great views of sunset over Lake Titicaca. The staff was eager to help and the meals were great. Stay here if you decide to visit Copacabana.

Room Tip: Best views are from the upper floors but you have to walk the stairs.

I hadn't taken any of my groups back ato Bolivia in about 6 years. I can not tell you what a beautiful trandformation the Rosario in Copacabana has gone through since my last visit. The rooms have all been redecorated with comfort and beauty in mind. The food is exceptional, thanks to their chef, Bismark. The front desk obliges in everyway possible, thanks to Benjamin Mendoza and the wait staff, from Fermin Chura, the maitre d' to Weismar, our waiter for our entire stay was exceptional. Thank you to all. I will bring my groups when returning to Bolivia without any hesitation and suggest others do the same. Thank you for making it a terrific experience for my group of 12 travelers. Best-Sandy Corcoran

Room Tip: As for rooms with a direct few of Lake Titicaca (ones at the far ends don't have as good a view). Ask for a matrimonial should you wish to share a bed with your partner, or double rooms should you wish to share space, but not beds. Weather permitting enjoy a drink on the porch off the business center. This is a hotel that will always have coca tea and water available for you without extra charge, unlike some of the other hotels we visited in both Peru & Bolivia. great people.

The hotel was still in renovation ( a reception wing in the garden= some noise from time to time), but already outstanding. The rooms are spacous, very nice decorated with each a view over Titicaca. The staff do their best to help you in every way. The restaurant copies their sister restaurant in La Paz ( same menu) the quality is not so good, but they do their utmost to get it right.
As Copacabana is not very clean it is a big contrast with the inside of the hotel, when you travel along the corridor you are looking at the rear windows on debris and garbage.
It is a pity that the shores of the lake in that area are so full of rubbish, as it could be a wonderfull place!
Considering this the hotel is becoming a real gem and some flower beds in the gardens around the hotel would forget a bit the dirty surroundings

The service I received from reception staff at this hotel was outstanding
They speak excellent English and go to endless lengths to help you in every way which is very useful when you need to organise a trip to Isla del sol plus bus to la Paz
The rooms are outstanding all with views over titicaca and the food menu is the best I have struck anywhere in south America
And all this in Bolivia
It is a tiny bit expensive but I left fully satisfied
They even stored my friends luggage for me for free whilst we all visited ids for a night and were extremely helpful in booking accommodation on ids as well
A definite 5 star
