Simple rooms but spacious, clean and comfortable. Quite bright in the mornings. Hot water that could be scalding at times and hard to get the temp right.
Lovely people running the place!
Breakfast is also incredibly good - fresh fruit, amazing banana cake, other pastries, cereal, bread, jam, coffee, juice. Impressive!
Overall a great find especially for the price.

This hotel is in a quiet but central position. Quick walk down to the lake shore and buses and all the restaurants. The room and bathroom were very clean and the room also good size. We had a nice lake view and the sun helped to heat the room up during the afternoon so it was nice and warm for your return in the evening. There was also hotwater available 24 hours (electric shower). The breakfast was good with fruit, cereal and different kinds of bread but the scrambled egg was always cold and not very appealing. The owners had a nice cockerspaniel dog who was very friendly. It's a family owned hotel and all members of the family work there but nobody seems to enjoy their job because you never see them smile. I would still recommend the hotel as a good option for Copacabana.

During my backpacktrip with a friend in Bolivia we stayed 1 night in Copacabana in hotel Wendy Mar. It was exactly what we expected. The hotel is not expensive but got everything you need. We had a spacious room with a view at the lake. The staff was helpful but not to chatty, which was fine for us. The breakfast was ok for what you pay for. It is only 10 minutes walk to the lake/harbour. Only the way back is up hill...

Stayed in Wendy Mar for 2 nights. Location is ok but quite noisy (we had a room overlooking the lake but that means overlooking the main street as well). Rooms are big and clean, breakfast is ok, WiFi occasionally works. Only issue we had was with the owners dog (a young English cocker spaniel). Don't get me wrong we love dogs but the owners just let the dog to rumble around. The dog was in our room, jumping on us during breakfast, we couldn't get out because the dog also wanted to go out (and there was nobody from the staff to take him away), etc. This may be a problem for someone who is afraid of dogs (we are not but we were annoyed as we couldn't have had normal breakfast or go out from the hotel). Can be recommended if you don't mind the dog (we wouldn't return...)

We had a twin bedroom here with a private bathroom. Everything was very clean and quite modern. The breakfast was very good also with toast, buns, jam, cornflakes and fruits as well as coffee and tea.
Also they have a very cute dog in the lobby who likes being patted ;)
Everything important in Copacabana is in walking distance.
We paid ~30€.
I can totally recommend it :)
