We went for Father's Day. 7 for late lunch , place was busy . They accommodated us with no problem . The food overall was great . The chowder, Cesar salad, scallops, haddock, all we're very good. No complaints about any of the food. Which is unusual with our group. Definitely will be back soon. Great job.

We love the Dockside. Located right at the tip of the bay in Alton Bay, NH. It is a very unique little restaurant. As you enter, there are a couple tables outside on the porch where you can dine and watch the boats coming and going on the bay. Once inside, you can go into the bar area to the right or to the dining room on the left. We like to try to get one of the 4 tops by the windows. Menu is typical summertime fare - haddock, fish tacos, lobster roll, etc. Very reasonable prices. Good-sized portions for the money. Fast, friendly service. Always a good meal. Everyone recommends the fried haddock sandwich. My husband thinks it's the best on the lake.

Last week we returned to one of our favorite places with our friends to start the summer season. Ordered the mussels and truly disappointed, very few in the order and seven had to be returned. Politely brought to their attention and....crickets. Returned the next weekend for dinner on a Sunday early evening this time only to find out they ran out of shrimp, haddock and scallops. Not so favorite anymore...could not rate due to no food.

This restaurant is right at the tip of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee! We had lunch there today. I ordered the haddock sandwich and it was awesome!! Fish was fresh and it was huge piece of haddock.. the whole side of the fish, enough for probably three sandwiches!! Nice atmosphere and friendly waitstaff! I've been there several times and food is always great!

Great way to start off the month of September! A relaxing breakfast with fast service and good food at a reasonable price. The three of us each ordered a pancake (which was easily an 8" circumference) plus the #2 breakfast which not only came with home fries (wish they had some crispness to them but still tasty), 2 slices of bread of your choice, bacon, ham or sausage pattie but also 2 eggs cooked to your liking. The eggs were cooked perfectly! My only disappointment was the rye bread lacked flavor.
