When this opened in Ann Arbor I thought it was too expensive for the market but it has succeeded. The offerings are very good. I’ve tried the Cowboy Ribeye, Filet Mignon, NY Strip, Crab Cakes, Magical Chicken, Roasted Corn and Loaded Baked Potato and thought all were prepared and presented beautifully. The drinks are well made but will quickly drive up the price of your meal. There is a city parking structure immediately next door. Also valet parking.

The food is consistently good at Ruth’s Chris.
But here’s the thing, working business dinners are tricky and need management savvy to pull them off - understanding the group, having quiet rooms, and executing service quickly. You can’t have one hard-working server deliver 20 plus plates by herself. Food gets cold and it’s awkward when half are served. With 4 courses, it drags things out too long. For example - one server passes out the salad and then someone else follows with the peppermill. Far better for two people to deliver plates. If “fresh ground pepper” is so important - put some pepper mills on the table. The server did the best she could, but some choreography is needed to handle a big group. This is not just a Ruth’s Chris, matter - most places don’t understand how to manage a working dinner.
Our room had a lot of noise from adjacent open dining room - indeed there was some confusion when we checked in in spite of a 6:00 reservation and we had more than 15 min before the room was ready.

My spouse loves steak me not so much!! I asked the waiter and he recommended the stuffed chicken. If you like cheese and chicken try it So good. The side dish of asparagus and sweet potato casserole we shared my spouse had focused mainly on the steak Keep in mind it’s not the cheapest

When I go to a high end steak house We expect good food. This was our first time at a Ruth Chris Steakhouse and we were not disappointed. Excellent lamb chops that practically melt in your mouth. A filet cooked perfectly. The asparagus and augratin potatoes were good. Crab cakes were great. What set the standard for me was the service. Morgan was fantastic. Gabe worked with her and also did a great job. My wife commented that she would ask for Morgan by name the next time we dined there. Bravo on a meal done very well! A great experience even if it was in Ann Arbor.
