Had two days at this hotel at the end of a cruise, didn't look much from the outside, or from the photos, but what a find. Free upgrade to the executive rooms, amazing view over the town, central to the old town too. Fantastic breakfast-with no additional charge, definitely go back.

How can you beat a place that's across the street from the Dubai Museum in the heart of Creekside, with a bus stop outside the door and a Metro stop around the corner? The hotel itself is not particularly fancy or luxurious - in fact it may be a little scuffed in places - but it's clean and comfortable, with a very helpful staff. Our only problem was at breakfast time - the hotel breakfast is expensive, as is the little cafe in the lobby ($5 for the cheapest cup of coffee available), and unless you want Indian food for breakfast, there are no places to go outside the hotel. You can, however, find plenty of inexpensive shwarma joints and Indian restaurants for lunch and dinner out in the neighborhood. All in all, we'd highly recommend it to anyone.

It is located at a great location. The staff were very friendly. The hospitality was top-notch. We stayed in executive room which was really great. Plus they had 3 complimentary drinks per person during happy hours in their executive lounge.

Room Tip: Go for executive rooms

Stayed here with my husband for two weeks in a newly renovated executive suite. Our room was very comfortable. The rainfall shower worked perfectly as well as the air conditioning. The king size bed and bedding also very comfortable. House keeping did an excellent job of keeping the room clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and served every morning in the executive lounge. There was a good selection of fresh foods to choose from. We visited the lounge most evenings and enjoyed complimentary snacks and drinks. A great big thank you and hugs for Maureen, our hostess in the lounge. I cannot say enough about her. Always cheerful, helpful, friendly and welcoming to us and other guests. We miss our daily chats with Maureen and will always remember her kindness!! This hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and just a short walk to the metro. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I had three staying in this hotel during April & May 2016 along with my colleagues for some training courses. Well, it can be summarized as a 4-star hotel, with friendly atmosphere and always smiling staff. It's not so big or very luxury, but clean and well-decorated. The breakfast was nice with enough choices, but three indian/chinese/arabic restaurants offer limited choices for lunch/dinner. We tried its small pool once and enjoyed it. This hotel is located in a good area with some 500m to metro station, though not in a classy neighborhood in Bur Dubai.

Room Tip: Rooms to the street side are bigger.
