Stayed here for 2 nights; the hotel is close to the Airport and my travel agent organised my pickup/drop-off from the Airport to this hotel which made it easy. The hotel is clean; room is good size and equipped with all the usual things however the bathtub is old and signs of aging can be seen from its rusty corners. I enjoyed the variety of generous breakfast and the service was not bad but could improve. At the end of my stat i was asked if I used the mini bar as they wanted to charge me 90 dirhams and I had to wait till they checked. Overall it a good hotel if your stay is short or in transit.

We stayed in Ramada Daira for 6 Nights and we enjoyed a lot there. The hotal is located close to Metro Station and on the Main Road Daira,Dubai. The road is well connected with Metro,Bus and Taxi Point. The rooms are very nice with Laege Bathroom. The Breakfast was reach and quality of foods was very good. This hotel's main attraction is terrace swimming pool, steam bath and Jakuzi. Also it's gymnasium is wonderful. All staffs and room service was superb. They also allowed us to bring out side food in room and they provide us crockery for eating the outside food. We feel home away from home. My special thanks to My trip planner company click your trip.com for great holiday package they provide us. We did all sight seeing in Dubai,125 Floor visit of Burz Al Khalifa,We did Dessert Safari,Dhow Cruse Dinner,Abudhabi Safari World Visit and Much More. I really like to visit Dubai again. I like it's safety, security of women, friendly drivers and All places.

“Unchi Dukan Feeka Pakwan”

We are contacting you regarding our extremely disappointing Dubai Tour. We have booked a group tour from Thomas Cook – Chandigarh from Vineet & Natasha. We were 54 persons almost 14 families including children and elders as well. WE almost have paid double of the money sor such a C-grade service from your side. We would like to say that “Unchi Dukan Feeka Pakwan” (only superficial good). Here are some issues which we faced during our tour:

Tickets – We all are with our families including our elders and children. Your agents booked our tickets anonymously which cause that we have to sit with strangers. Husband and wife sit on different seats and children sit with some strangers and we haven’t enjoyed for journey together for which we had paid so much money. While at the time of booking the tour, we were told that we will get full assistance from Thomas Cook at Delhi airport for boarding the flight. At the time of check-in at Delhi airport, there was no arrangement for Group Check-in. We had checked-in ourselves which has taken more than 2-3 hours.

Arrival at Dubai Airport – We were told while booking that a tour assistant would receive us at Dubai Airport and help us to clear all airport formalities. But there was nobody to assist us. We managed it ourselves which again created so much trouble and was time consuming. After coming out from the airport, we met our tour assistant/guide named JIGNESH who has ZERO knowledge about Dubai.

We were also told while booking that after arriving at Dubai, we would be going to a restaurant for dinner, but from airport there were 2 buses (1 big & 1 small) which were there to take us to the Hotel direct not restaurant. We all males had the small bus, and females and children were in big bus. The big bus carrying females and children reached hotel earlier, so there was nobody there from hotel side to carry our luggage from bus into the hotel. Ladies and Children carried the luggage into the hotel from bus.

We were told at the time of booking that each family would get a free Sim Card for use, but we haven’t got it. When we asked our tour assistant about this, he told us to get your own sim cards from a nearby shop. Some of our members had purchased Sim cards @80 Dirhams (INR 1400/- Aproxx.) And in Hotel Atlintas we got 2 sim cards free with each room.

While checking-in into the hotel, we got rooms on different floors. For example From one family, some got rooms on 4th floor, elders got rooms on 8th floor and children got rooms on different floors. Some couples got the Twin Bedded rooms, which were so unprofessional, which we could not imagine from Thomas Cook. Even a local travel agent could provide some better service than what we got form your side.

And then we got packed meal for dinner which was so bad that my 6 years old daughter said “even a dog will never have such kind of food, whether he is hungry”. What else we can say about the food.

That evening Mr. Jignesh told us that next day our half day tour would start at 9AM on which we had requested that gentleman that it is not possible for us to go at 9AM, kindly make it 10.30AM for which he agreed. But in the morning he told us that your tour has been missed out. Then we called at Chandigarh office and told everything to Natasha. Then we got a call from Mumbai office assuring that we can have that half day tour on some other day. But we never get it.

Our package has included a dinner at Al-Burj. We were informed the time of dinner would be 6.30PM to 7.30PM. How can we have our dinner so early? On all days, there were so many small and nominal things for which we require assistance and we had requested Mr. Jignesh, but he has one common answer for every question i.e. “NOT POSSIBLE” which actually was possible and we had made it done by ourselves.

Another day, we had a tour for Snow Park, Mr. Jignesh told us that it is mandatory to buy Caps & Gloves for entering in snow park. Some of our friends and families had purchased but after reaching the Snow Park we found that it was not essential. Again we have been misguided.

We also had a cruise drive included in out package. While boarding the cruise, we got seats in some lower floor. We requested your tour assistant to kindly provide us seats on the top for which he replied that all seats on top were reserved. Then we consulted the Cruise manager and had words with him and were able to get the seats on the top. And then we came to know that the cruise was all empty. Then some of our members have requested for tea and we only get 1 cup of tea after half n hour. We asked for more tea, and then they told us that the tea has already been served to everybody. And same story happened with the snacks.

In Desert Safari, we were told to have food in queue. We got “Bread Pakoras” for starters. We never felt such insulted and some of our members had dinner from outside while paying from their own pocket.

There was lot more things happened during the tour which we never expect from such a big travel giant like Thomas Cook.

We are deeply disappointed and upset by the service we get from Thomas Cook style Holiday, which is supposed to be one of your better holidays. We feel that we have been misled about the facilities, service and accommodation.

I stayed in this hotel in August 2011 and I can't say anything bad about this hotel. Room was nice, comfortable and clean, a lot of space. Bathroom same, clean and nice. Only bad thing was that they didn't have red bull in hotel, but there is small shop behind a hotel and it's open late at night. There is night club with lot of escort girls which I didn't like. Every thing else was fine. Hotel is close to airport and the guy on the front door is awesome.
