We visited this place today in lieu of a heavy lunch in between sightseeing. It was perfect! We got to taste a variety of local dishes, samosas, a mutton and potato fried dumpling, Burmese style potstickers, pastry puffs with a meat filling, sweet sticky rice cakes, and steamed buns filled with coconut. And of course all washed down with a lovely green tea. Everything was delicious! All of that for 5200 kyat which is less than $4! The price can't be beat. I can't recommend this place enough!

I dream of this place when I am not in Mandalay. They have the BEST breakfast EVER. The samosas are out of this world (the shell is very thin and very crispy). The Shan Noodles and the Coconut Chicken Noodles are outstanding. The Mohinga is delicious and the parathas are PERFECT.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not eat Western food while you are in Mandalay.Burmese food is too good to pass up!!!!

Great food. Very Casual. Covered outdoor seating. Not much English spoken but the staff is happy to help you point, gesture and mime. We used Google images to get an awesome coconut bun. The staff is young and excited to serve tourists. Awesome experience.

Great tea shop in the heart of Mandalay. We ate chicken dumplings, samosa salad- which is samosa cooked in a chick pea curry, egg spicy pratha and Myamnar cake ( banana, rice flour, sticky rice), fresh fruit juice. 5 people cost 13,000 kyats only . Very highly recommended. And safe to try for tourists, very hygienic. Green tea is free.

For breakfast , this is the best place in town . You can choose variety of food like Indian , Myanmar traditional menu .
You also don't worry for lunch , here you can get light food for lunch .
Becareful , the shop only open until 6 pm , so can' t get dinner .
