had lunch at Bistro Europe - found it to be good service and good food.
The Black Sea mussels (in white wine) were excellent - they came with a small portion of fries - these are not mentioned on the menu and I nearly ordered a separate portion but the waitress saved me by explaining (in English thankfully) that fries were an integral part of the dish. They were very good - and a good sized portion too. My wife had calamari - said they were possibly the best she had ever eaten. So full marks there.
The one big down side - and I do not hold the Bistro Europe responsible - is the fact that people in Bulgaria smoke at their tables. This is banned in most other European countries and Bulgaria should follow suit....the small down side is that if you sit at a table by the street side beggars will come along and hassle you for a handout.
Other than those gripes a great place for lunch.
