We firstly stayed on the 5th floor but struggled with the low ceilings. The day after we got there we asked to change rooms and we were moved within a few hours. The staff were very friendly and literally couldn’t do any more for us. We went to a supermarket (Tommy) to buy drinks and food for our stay and then realised we didn’t have a toaster in the room. Just asked the reception and had one within 5 minutes. Can also ask for an iron if needed - but we didn’t need one in the end. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and was happy with the size. We stayed in one night and had a takeaway. The reception staff ordered it for us and it came about 50 minutes later. The pool area is nice and clean however it is very very cold!! Only downfall is the hill. These apartments are on a very very steep hill. It’s easy to walk down it and we found a short cut too. However it’s a bit of a walk on the way up. Uber is about £2.50 to the main strip so wasn’t too fussed by it in the end. Overall a happy stay. Thank you.

Room Tip: Let customers know they can have access to a toaster and iron.

We stayed at Villa Curic as a couple and with family. It’s a beautiful villa situated very high up (it’s rather steep!) and with beautiful views from the higher level apartments and the rooftop pool.

This is a family run villa and the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. They really go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. They make their own wine - I’d recommend the white - and they offer wine tasting. We got a bottle for free upon arrival and bought another one during our stay.

The apartments are roomy and comfy. There is a well stocked kitchen comprising hob, microwave, sandwich maker and coffee maker.

The area had plenty of restaurants which can be expensive but are generally good. I’d recommend the Solitudo Beer and Grill just down the road, excellent service and the best food we had all holiday.

I’d give this villa 5/5 - it’s clean, friendly, tidy, had a pool and great views. Everything you want!

We stayed here for 2 night and found this place to be neat and tidy, rooms had all you needed with kitchen and all the utilities that goes with it and great views from the pool area and as we have driven from Split we needed car parking which is a premium in Dubrovnik, this place had excellent car port covered park facilities for those who travel by car to Dubrovnik, will find very handy and Franjo the owner was very friendly and helpful and great customer service which includes his staff as well,

We spent almost two weeks in the Villa with our two children, in room 502. This is built into the loft of the building so there is no terrace but there are two very large windows that provide fresh air and headspace. There is some getting used to the low ceilings at some points in the rooms, but after 3 days I was able to wake up in the morning without banging my head on the ceiling.

The apartment itself was spotlessly clean - as were all the common areas like the stairs, the pool, the pool toilet, etc. We didn't have the cleaning every day as it would have been a bit much, but we could have done if we'd chosen to. We also had breakfast delivered to our room every morning at a previously agreed time. The scrambled eggs and omelettes were delicious and I already miss the coffee!

The pool is lovely and hardly ever crowded so we always found a space. There are great views from up there and of course, this comes because the Villa is at the top of a very steep hill. We soon got used to the walks up and down and to be honest, we needed the extra workouts after lying on a beach all day! The staff is also extremely helpful and always keen to help and answer all our questions. The bus stop is only a few minutes' walk away and so are a couple of supermarkets plus the beach with restaurants and bars.

I would highly recommend Villa Curic as it is brilliantly located (if you don't mind the hill), staffed with great people and with all that we needed for our holiday. I think it would probably be worth booking one of the rooms with a balcony though, as this gives a little more space (and somewhere to dry all the wet clothes) not to mention that you don't have to worry about banging your head against the ceiling.

Room Tip: Get a room with a terrace or balcony. Rooms 501 and 502 have low ceilings and have no outside area at all.

Spent a week at the Villa in the beginning if August. Our party was 3 kids and two adults. In arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean as was the rest of the complex.
We were concerned about the pool being small and being there at peak time but that wasn't the case. We had the pool to ourselves most if the time and in 30c heat it was a godsend.
It is hilly where the Villa is located but we knew that before we booked it is quite a hilly area.
Only thing for us was as self catering small kitchen no toaster only two ring no oven.
Really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik it's a truly lovely country
