We just stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Its located on the Lapad peninsula which is where many of the new luxury hotels in Dubrovnik are located. The hotel looks newly renovated. We had a lovely room, relatively large with a nice bathroom and a huge balcony with direct views down to the pool below and the waterfront and Elafiti Islands. You could spend hours admiring the view, specially at sunset. Very nice breakfast included, with fresh orange juice (on request) and an omelette station. The main pool below is also fabulous, but due to the intense heat while we were there, we did not make much use of it. Very helpful and friendly staff.

As others have mentioned, the No 4 bus starts outside the hotel and goes straight to the Old Town (Pile Gate) in about 15 mins. The buses run every 15-20 mins and the hotel provides you with the printed schedule and even sells bus tickets, making it very quick and convenient to visit the Old Town whenever you like. Its also less than 7 minutes to the Sunset Beach waterfront promenade where there are several excellent (albeit pricey) restaurants. We personally enjoyed visiting the Old Town each evening for dinner, as the days were so busy with sightseeing and day trips. Overall, excellent stay and highly recommend.

Room tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor. Pretty much every room has direct sea views, but the higher you are, the more expansive the view.

Me and the BF stayed for 7 nights during glorious weather and could not have enjoyed it more! The room was quiet, clean and well maintained, with stunning views and a private balcony. It was serviced at least twice a day - coming back to find chocolates left in the room every night after dinner was a particularly nice touch.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were a highlight - and we spent many hours watching the spectacular sunsets whilst dining on fresh roasted veg, salads, soups, pasta and epic pudding selections. My only gripe with the food is that there is quite a poor vegan selection (I ended up eating cheese, butter, croissants and cream where as I usually would not eat this at home) however both myself and my BF found the veggie options to be great - and have put on about 3 stone between us. We did not ask the staff about this and to be fair, they were so lovely that I'm sure they would have gone out of their way to make sure we were well fed as vegans too!
Which reminds me! The staff were so friendly! Last time I was in Croatia I was blown away by how hospitable the locals were and this hotel was no exception. Everyone seemed so keen to remind us that we were on holiday and were terrible influences when it came to going back for a second round of pudding.
Due to the pools (all 4 of em), the crystal sea, the 4 hot-tubs and the many sun terraces, leaving the hotel was a struggle. Sitting on a sun lounger drinking beer and cocktails whilst listening to the sea and gazing at the horizon was far to lovely to resist for many of the days we were there, and somewhat thwarted my many plans of exploring the local islands, or taking trips into nearby Bosnia or Montenegro (which are all things you should probably do, if you have more willpower than me).
When we did venture out, the number 4 bus waited for us just outside the front entrance for a quick journey to the Old Town. And after a day wandering the streets of the city, returning for a quick dip in the pool followed by an endless dinner really hit the spot.
To conclude - i recommend this hotel 100%. It is NOT cheap however, and be prepared for quite expensive drinks. Although if, like us, you are from London - you'll probably just suck it up because its still cheaper than home ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My main tip for when to visit Dubrovnik is to look up on croatiatraveller.com what days cruise ships are in Dubrovnik because when there are too many the place literally heaves with tourists and is a zoo.......... Dubrovnik isn't cheap e.g. £12 for a large beer and small wine, £20 each to walk the town walls, £20 each for the cablecar.

You stay at this hotel for the views which are beautiful including from the nice indoor pool. Most of the staff are friendly and very helpful but one or two could do with a pep talk. The rooms have lovely views and are very quiet as everywhere is carpeted but the room cleaning was poor - after 5 days our carpet needed hoovering and it was done as soon as we asked but in a 5* hotel you shouldn't have to ask! Room was adequate but could do with some drawers and/or more hangers - we only had 8. The hotel itself is not particularly atmospheric due to its slightly brutal design and often hosts large conventions.

We were half board. The breakfast was very good but the buffet dinners were very disappointing - I have had much better in much cheaper 4* hotels. We did not eat in the A La Carte so cannot comment.

Room tip: Room above 2nd floor as the balcony walls of lower floors are solid concrete and obstruct view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, staff were very friendly and the beautiful views across the bay were stunning whether first thing in the morning or last thing at night with all the twinkling lights.
Room was fine, although no drawers which we missed for putting in our bits and pieces, the safe was easy to use and the fridge was perfect for the milk etc. The pools were a good size but on the cold side, in fact swimming in the sea was warmer but sea swimming was not easy to navigate and the steps going down were very slippery.
