This family run restaurants shows its family pride. You are treated like a friend. They provide amuses and other extra touches. The interior is rather simple and folksy, so most people eat at the sidewalk tables which have infrared or gas flame heaters when it is cold. It is on a side street just off the square in front of the cathedral. At night it is quite romantic as it is quiet and not bustling, at least in March. Peak tourist season is another story. The fish dishes are excellent. I had John Dory, which is not native to the US, so it was a real treat to get it fresh from the sea just offshore. The risotto that goes with it was excellent. Portions are small as this is upscale cooking. Deserts are tasty. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality. I would go back.
