We arrived late at night in a "taxi" from the airport and with it being a new-ish hotel I think the taxi driver struggled with the location a bit, although his eyesight didn't seem the best generally. The taxi rank itself at the airport is an experience & requires a great deal of haggling to get the local price.
The hotel itself is ideally situated for anyone attending a Metalist home game in Kharkiv, being only a short walk down the main road from the ground.
The rooms were basic, but comfortable enough and the Wifi good enough to keep in contact with home cheaply via Skype.
We had an evening meal in the hotel bar before the game which was excellent.
The breakfasts were limited, but interesting nonetheless. The day we left we were checking out at 6am to catch a train & the very kind kitchen staff had boxed us up a breakfast each to take with us.
In the somewhat unlikely event I'm ever passing through Kharkiv again I'd definitely use this hotel & would recommend it to anyone.More
