Although this restaurant is only once every 2 weeks, the center itself, where the kids come every day after school teaches far more than cooking. Only the older kids 12-16 learn how to plan the meal, to cook it, to serve it (in English), to make the menus (on computers) and to clean up and politely ask for payment. The 100Q (about $12) that we pay is for the delicious food, for the upkeep of the center, for the computers, supplies and and the profit is used for the continued education of the chlldren who come from all around the village where the center is located.
