The hotel is nice, but needs some updating. The common areas were pretty and the guest services people were helpful. In fact everyone we met who worked at this hotel gets high marks for customer service, being personable and accommodating. There were two family unions going on when we were there and those people looked happy too. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, maybe the best I've ever had.

Three of us stayed here in early August. The hotel had just changed names so we had trouble finding the entrance because the old name was covered. The lobby was nice and front desk staff very helpful. The room however was in need of a renovation. Furniture was dated and the ceiling had multiple places were there were globs of putty? The location of the hotel was good- not far from Main Street. We had Sunday brunch at Baroak which was good.

Had issues this time, we had never had an issue in previous stays. A/C was having issues so room muggy the whole 4-day stay and had mold on ceiling in corner. When I mentioned to front staff they comped two small meals we had in the restaurant. Food is always good. Our room refer was broken. But location, ease of in/out with parking, breakfast (costs), and former Marine waiter makes the stay here each time worth the $. Am a Loews fan, but looking forward to the evolution to the new branded hotel.

We booked this hotel for a much needed Girls' Weekend. We had two rooms for the group and while they did not have a connecting room for us they did accommodate with two rooms next to each other. Perfect!

The room was clean and well appointed with two beds, a desk/chair, comfy chair, dresser with ample storage, good sized bathroom with shower/tub combo, and lots of closet space. We had three ladies in one room and 4 in the other and it did not feel over crowded. Plenty of room and outlets for all of us to get ready at once.

The location was great. We were within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the water front. No need to worry about who has to drive!

The staff throughout the hotel was friendly and helpful. The lounge was a great place to grab a few drinks either before heading out or before going to bed. There were board games set up in the main lobby if you wanted to kill time, and a great fire pit area outside to sit around and enjoy a cold beverage and the night air.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area for a visit.
