What great experiences we just had with this women-owned company, both on a 1-day tour of the Panama Canal and Casco Viejo, and also over a 3-day weekend. If you want to explore Panama with locals who are excellent drivers, know their country inside-out, and are super friendly and knowledgeable, look no further.
We spoke very minimal Spanish, but that was no problem; Services Coronado's staff speak excellent English, and were superb translators. The languages in which I'm sure they're fluent include Spanish, English, French, & Portuguese (there may be more). We felt like we were in excellent hands with them, including having clean vans - always complete with coolers full of ice-cold beverages for our use.
Johanny, the main owner, is very well connected and has high standards. We had a blast on a day tour boating to monkey island in the Panama Canal. She took great photos while we were feeding monkeys - and shared the photos with us. The day-trip included a tour of the old city, Casco Viejo, a sumptuous lunch, and a visit to one of the main locks/observation areas of the Panama Canal. What a great day!
Our weekend tour included staying at a luxury rental home on Boca Brava island (with pool) and doing two days of whale watching, dolphin watching, and island hopping for swimming and lunch. It was a peak life experience.
We trusted the staff, had so much fun with them, and felt very well cared for. We're already plotting when we can return with more friends, to have Services Coronado again show off their beautiful country!
