We stayed here for one night when we arrived in Nicaragua. It has a very family oriented atmosphere and the staff are very kind, friendly, and eager to help.
We intended to stay one night on our way out of the country but after checking in our host thought recommended we head to the airport instead as civil unrest in the city might make it impossible to get to the airport when we needed to catch our flight. He refunded our room and they made us supper, a vegan supper at that as the meal they had already prepared wasn't vegan. As well, they wouldn't let us pay for the delicious food they prepared for us. The people at Managua Hills are incredibly genuine. Their hotel is peaceful and serene. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in Managua.More
