The food was tasty - not too spicy.
The environment cool, and service excellent
Many times Iget disappointed after eating at more pricy establishment, but not here!

This is our favorite restaurant in Kiev. The decor is great and the food amazing. There´s a cool vibe and the staff is very professional. We haven´t tried anything on the menu that wasn´t great but would really recommend the sweet-and-sour chicking and the pecking duck.

BAO is exceptional in several ways: the interior is striking, the atmosphere is hip & happening and the food is excellent - not unimportant for a restaurant!

Sure, prices are steep and the crowd is 'nouveau riche' but overall this is a winner.

Tip: make sure to reserve your table on a Friday or Saturday!

Conclusion: one of my favorite restaurants in town!

I guess it would never occur to you to go look for borsh in China, would it? Don't understand why people would want to go Modern Chinese Cuisine place in Ukraine. This place is as far from the Chinese cuisine as I am from an alligator.... Besides I think its relation value for money is not great. The service was not that good. Though the duck was not bad. But the overall experience I would not rate as very high. The place has nice interior. But I personally go to restaurants to eat, and could care less about the fancy environment.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to!
Delicious food and tasty drinks all served by service-minded and friendly staff.
Would recommend you to order several dishes from the menu and share them.
During our visit to Kiev we went to BAO two times; dinner the first night and we had to go back for lunch on our last day before leaving.
I would most definitely visit BAO when in Kiev again.
