“A great restaurant”
Review of Musafir

Musafir
Ranked #7 of 2,598 Restaurants in Kiev
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$2 - US$7
Description: Musafir is a traditional Crimean Tatar kitchen place in down town Kiev. We serve Crimean Tatar soups, traditional meat pastry - chebureki and jantik, steam dumplings - manti and hanuma; meat pies - burma and kobete; grilled menu - shashliki, lula, steaks. We also serve a lot of green tea, and traditional Turkish coffee prepared on hot sand. The design is simple, slightly eastern, the service is great (we hope and we work very hard to make sure). The place is not pretentious, we have free wifi, and pretty democratic prices.

The food here is amazing! I definitely recommend visiting.
Our waiter spoke good English and everyone was very welcoming.
The food is also extremely cheap which allows you to sample as many dishes. It also helps that you can choose the number of pieces you wish to order with some dishes, for example manti (dumplings) or chebureki (a must to try!).
And their interior was my favorite of all the restaurants I've been to in Kiev. Very simple and nice.
If you are visiting Kiev, Musafir must be on your itinerary.

Flew to Cyprus with UIA and so arranged a one night stop over in Kiev solely to visit this restaurant. Booked a table in advance. Rocked up with family. Service okay as always. But food incredible. Don’t even know what we ate. Some kind of kebabs. Some meat turn over things. All incredible. Had a few different beers also which were fantastic. The best bit is the bill. After my family of five ate to near bursting and I consumed some lovely beer the total cost was £22!!!! Insane. Fully recommend.

We've been here many times and food was always very nice. Highly recommended if you like your meat ( it is halal). Try shashlyk, cheburek, and kebab with aubergine.

I found this restaurant by chance! It serves an authenticated Crimean Tatar food. The atmosphere and music take you far away on a magic carpet where you indulge a deliciously tasting food with a warm service. Staff are so friendly and speak English. Drinkable water is on the table for free. You will be served humus and bread on the house just after you order food. Prices are so reasonable and portions are good. You will see a variety of grills. But I understood the grill is closed for an hour from 5 pm. Table booking looks like is needed during lunch and dinner times. I highly recommend this place.

Incredibly delicious food, very helpful staff. Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The choice of dishes is great, you can come here for lunch or just drink some coffee. At lunchtime cafe is pretty crowded, so it is better to reserve the table in advance. Çoq sağ oluñız!
