Really nice staff and an excellent location near parks and a vibrant steet market makes this place something special. Allthough the morning buffet is a bit small. Nice quiet neighboorhood with many restaurent and cafe opportunities.

I stayed in this hotel in my recent visit to Kiev after seeing the prices in the big chains. Very happy with my decision! Hotel is very well located in the old part of town on the hill. Stuff are very friendly and room was descent size for my 1 night stay. Very good breakfast with made to order dishes and a great terrace on the 4th floor! I would stay again!

It is always difficult to chose a hotel in a city you don't know, especially when you as we, don't want the mainstream hotels you can find anywhere in the world.

When traveling my wife and I are determined to find local hotels that reflects the national customs, design and atmosphere. But no matter how much research you do, you are never really quite sure when selecting a hotel. You can read comments from other users on the various travel search engines but the comments often vary from "Love this place to the worst ever" about the same place.

One further criteria is that the room must have a terrace, balcony or a garden, which limits the number of choices. Unfortunately TripAdvisor has still not implemented this as a part of the filter, but many hotel search engines do...

After many many emails forth and back to hotels that claim to have a balcony or a terrace, but where this was just a part of the hotel and not the room, we found this smal hotel in the heart of Kiev.

Room 201 is a small suite with a beautiful terrace overlooking the courtyard. The room itself is very well decorated and totally renovated.. A four poster bed and a beautiful bathtub at each end of the room makes this design hotel room very special. The separate bathroom is equipped with white English tiles and matching sanitary and a walkin rainshower that makes the room perfect. The colors of the room is well thought through to give the room the right ambiance.

Breakfast is served in the terrace restaurant on the 4th floor overlooking the quiet courtyard or in the hill side garden with a small waterfall.

We could not have wished for a better hotel !!

The hotel is located in a historical district of Podil not far from the center. The personal is nice, the restaurant is very beautiful, you can enjoy a splendid scenery of the garden. Very nice place for photos. Adapted for disabled people.

Booked room direct via the hotel's webpage. Was promised twin beds in a quiet room facing the patio. Upon arrival we were given a room with a double bed and a single blanket - not the best when you are traveling with your daughter. We were moved to another room with twin beds - but facing the road and a road work that started at 7 in the morning. Not good! The room were clean, the staff friendly - but we were not satisfied with our room. And the aircondition was very noisy. The standard of the room was not "boutique" it was more post-colonial.

Room tip: Ask for a room facing the patio - and insist on that.
