This Hostel for round about only 6 Euros a night has nice rooms, a kitchen, a good position and a very dedicated crew! If I had a question or something need to know, they always took time, called travelguides and so on. Feel like under friends!

Room tip: Super zugänglich.

We were there in late December 2014, so there weren't many people in the hostel, which I think was part of the reason things were so calm in the hostel. The staff was helpful (just 2 dudes that I know of) and gave us directions on everywhere we wanted to go. There was also a little calico kitten there that was a blast to play with, but heed caution if you have an allergy to cats, because it is a tiny hostel and this is unavoidable. They love basketball, which is pretty awesome. The common room is a little small, but the bedrooms are just fine. Don't sit upright quickly on the bottom bunk or you'll bash your head! best part of the bedrooms? There are outlets for every bed. There is also a great restaurant right next to the hostel. Go there.

I was there for 3 nights. While it was low season so I was there only with 2 other guys (we checked in pretty much the same time) and no other guests were there. In low season, it may not be the best place of a hostel you can easily meet other travellers but instead you can enjoy its space in this little house (e.g. no waiting for a shower and toilet). I felt extremely comfortable while the guy worked/helped out there was very nice and helpful and I enjoyed the chat with him. He made our stay so easy and like home! And the little kitty they raise Garfield was super cute! I would totally go back to this hostel! Recommended!

From the beginning of the Hostel era in Belgrade, many have opened and closed to this day. However The Star Hostel, situated in the old part of the town, Dorcol Historical, is still opened. The Staff as the owners are very friendly, advice happy, helpful in any situation, for tourists from all over the world. So if you are venturing through Europe and Having Belgrade on your " must visit map ", this is the place to stay. Warmly recommended !

Room tip: Quiet and cozy rooms !

The Hostel is okay it has everything you need as in a kitchen and laundry facilities. The staff are helpful and it is a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre. What made the stay for us more enjoyable was meeting people in the living area and heading out with them. We found it was easy to meet people in this hostel and Belgrade is an awesome city!
