Can’t really fault this hotel. Lovely and clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was adequate and the hotel is in a good central location. Minibar was great, too! Would definitely recommend.

Booked this hotel last minute. We stayed for 3 nights. Very basic hotel. You get what you pay. Excellent location. Bus stop right opposite the entrance. A little mini market right on the corner just outside the hotel. Though it is advertised that no parking is available we didn’t have a problem finding one. Restaurant is closed on Weekends which is not mentioned. Breakfast is basic but good. Clean rooms. Hot water. Overall a nice hotel.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, and is in a good location close to old town, but looks nothing like the photos you see online. They are in the midst of some renovation but nothing that disturbed us. The rooms are just plain and basic, no water provided either, which I always appreciate at least one bottle of water on arrival. Breakfast was fine and fresh but the room it's served in is a brightly lit, cafeteria style space and could use with some warm touches, including better lighting and no MTV being shown on the big tv screen. This is a basic, but fine, hotel but don't expect it to resemble the photos. Wifi worked well.

The Trianon Hotel is in a very good location (central and quiet). Still, it would be good to have a green corner in the patio. The rooms are large, clean, well equipped, good bed, staff is very kind and willing to help. One thing I didn't like: the rooms at the ground floor which have the windows with view to the patio. Somehow, this gave me discomfort. Well, after one night, they changed it with a room at the second level.

Room Tip: Avoid the ground floor rooms.

Stayed here for one night, the hotel is about 20 minute walk from the old town and is get in a residential area with little around it. It took nearly an hour to get in from the airport in a taxi in rush hour and it cost 110lei (€25). only cost 32lei on the way back. A tip is the look at the price per klm that’s on the side of the taxi, they vary hugely but offer the same service so pick a car that looks ok for a reasonable price and gets receipt

The hotel is clean but very bland. the rooms are very dark and some don’t even have windows which was a big issue for me. I asked to move room from a prison cell and staff were helpful and moved me to a room with frosted internal windows which was strange and offered no view or natural light. The spot lights were like heaters and left the room very warm. The shower was great.

Breakfast was poor. I had to ask for eggs as the buffet was empty and what came out was not far off raw. The water for tea was cold, the coffee machine didn’t work and the breakfast staff grumpy. Croissant were burnt and fruit was unappealing

Overall It was okay but an expensive hotel for what it was. There are hotels with far more character around the city for similar money.

Some of the previous views are suspiciously over enthusiastic about the place.
