We stayed at Ludmil's B&B for 4 nights (Dec 2-6, 2017). He met us at the bus station as promised. We also contracted with him for a trip to Rila Monastery; the trip was wonderful! He's an extremely friendly guy, and also very knowledgeable about anything related to Bulgaria. His B&B has beautiful Italian antique furniture and a very homey ambience. You should certainly stay at Casa Ferrari if you go to Sofia!

This is a very comfortable and friendly B&B located in a residential block aparment building. Rooms are very comfortable with wifi, A/C and large clean bathrooms. Good breakfast, the host is very helpful and friendly. Just southwest of a great area for restaurants and nightlife and close to the NDK Metro stop.

What an incredibly warm welcome by a very friendly gentleman who was very happy to provide a lovely stay, sharing some of his heritage. He is very knowledgeable about the country's history and happy to freely share. In fact he offers day tours around as well as a guide. The place is located in an area with a few shops and restaurants around. The street is quiet and had a nice quiet night. The facilities are simple but nice, with a shared breakfast and lounge room. There is a kitchenette which was great and you can use it to make some tea, use the fridge, dishwasher etc. Very handy and especially if you are staying for longer this is really good. The room was clean and had everything I needed, desk, simple toiletries, airco, tv etc. I felt made so welcome and taken care of it was a very nice experience. Breakfast was absolutely lovely with fresh local delicacies, yoghurt, coffee and juice. I have already recommended this to my colleague who was staying in a chain hotel. Much nicer experience here as you can get a feel of the culture even if here for a short stay. Definitely recommend! By the way wifi included and superfast.

A Comfortable and beautiful place topped with a great host. He gladly shares his excellent knowledge of his country and its rich history. The traditional breakfast is tasty and consists of warm cheese pie, Bulgarian yogurt and muesli among others. I'd certainly stay again if I return to Sofia.

I can only reiterate previous reviews of this B&B and how fabulous it is. Ludmil picked us up from the airport which I would recommend as although a short walk from the centre it is tucked away in a side street. It is very homely and we had 2 of the 3 rooms available with use of the kitchen. The rooms are lovely with a antique furniture and a good shower. Ludmil helped with suggestions for things to do including an interesting 2 hour walking tour which provided a good insight into the history and sights of the city. We also booked a trip to Rila Monastery which was incredible - Ludmil dropped us off then took us to a beautiful fish restaurant next to a picturesque stream in the mountains. We had fresh trout and Bulgarian soup which for the 4 of us was less than £30! We then stopped off to see another famous church before going back, a truly memorable day. All in all a wonderful start to our 8 days in Bulgaria.
