Steps away from the attractive old town. Rooms are well equipped, care to the details, cozy and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was also great. We were quite happy picked up this hotel which made our stay in Sarajevo could not be more perfect. 我们很运气地找到这家酒店,位置很适中,去老城步行距离。房间温馨而整洁,细节很好。前台提供很有帮助的建议,使得我们在萨拉热窝的停留很完美。

This hotel has the most convenient location in Sarajevo you can hope for. Small but truly well equipped and clean. Breakfast was great and the staff is really helpful. The only minus is they charge you for parking if you travel with a car.

Dear Jovana Jovanovska,

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. Guest comfort and satisfaction are of the utmost concern to us and our hotel is committed to making every possible effort to provide comfortable, clean, and superior accommodations. It is nice to read that you were satisfied wit the cleanliness of the hotel and breakfast served was at par. However, it is disappointing we failed to explain more clearly that the Parking Lot in question does not belong to the Hotel. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We tried to solve a problem of Parking in the downtown area for our guests, which is very pricey already. We have a Special Discount for our guests which allows You to park at a 50% discounted rate. All other Hotels that have their own Private Parking Lots here in the downtown area charge a similar price as well. We all hope that you will choose our hotel again since we want to make all of our guests stay as comfortable as possible, especially guests that did not fully had their expectations met.

Best regards from CITY Boutique Hotel Sarajevo team

Strange location but convenient for public transportation and only a long block from a pedestrian mall with many shops and big and small sidewalk cafes . The river walk was close by and the site of The Arch Duke's assassination which started WWI. The city was clean and I was not fazed when walking about in the evening hours

Room tip: enjoy the walking malls for coffee or shopping

Small boutique hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Pleasant and efficient staff. The hotel is exceptionally quiet. We liked the fact that there were two locations where we could get coffee or tea at any time. We would definitely return and have no problem recommending it to others.

Hotel was lovely, but it is on a block of buildings covered in graffiti (not on the hotel, but all attached to each other). The building across the street, which our room face, was also covered in graffiti. This is not unusual in this part of the world, and the graffiti is not gang-related, but rather political, so we were told. It is just a shame that it mars the overall impression of the hotel. The location itself is very good for getting around, practically backing up to the main walking district. Hotel has an elevator that goes to the fifth floor, then the breakfast room is one flight up, which has to be walked. The breakfast room, on the top floor, is very bright and cheery, and although the selection does not seem very large, it is quite good, with some fun things you won't see elsewhere. I especially like the quiche and a flan/yogurt creation topped with berry preserves. The people at the front desk speak impeccable English and are extremely helpful, making reservations and drawing maps for walking excursions. WE had a nice-size twin room, with frig, safe, desk, two chairs, closet, individual reading lights, flat screen tv, free wifi, lots of room for luggage, and good-sized bathroom. Operating the shower was a challenge at first. To turn on the water, you push back on the right hand side of the horizontal bar that adjusts the water. You don't push in, you push back and to the side. That same piece adjust the temperature. To change from the regular spout to the shower head, which would go into the tub if there were one, you pull down on the hose connection. There is an illustration on the wall, but we had never seen anything quite like this. Just be patient, and you will figure it out. Lots of counter space in the bathroom. However, there was no regular door between the bathroom and the bedroom. Instead, we had a frosted glass "door" that didn't actually close or seal off one from the other. Although our room faced a fairly busy street, we were not bothered by any street noise, except for one errant car alarm. We were also pleased that we weren't disturbed by the call to prayer from any of the local mosques. One night, we had a problem with the electricity going on and off all night. In the morning, we checked with the front desk, and it was suggested that perhaps our electronic room key had a weak contact. They re-did the keys, and it was fine the next night. Since there were candles and matches in the nightstand drawers, and I had read about power problems, we had assumed it was natural. So if you encounter this sporadic electricity, check your card key. Very much enjoyed the hotel.
