This place was perfect for my stopover in Lima. The driver was waiting for me at the airport as was pre-arranged (that is not always the case, so it's comforting to know they will be there when it's the middle of the night). Both the evening and morning guys at check-in were very friendly and helpful. I didn't see many others because I arrived late and slept through breakfast (which I hear is wonderful, darn!), but the common areas were comfy and welcoming. Wifi connection was strong no matter which floor you were on. The private room I booked was simple but clean. I felt very safe here; I'd stay again if stopping over in Lima.

book a 4 psn room and you have a queensize bed, lot of space and just the bathroom you need! The food is pricy (peru prices) but you get a great meal for it! The breakfast is outstanding with 5 types of fruits, fresh fruitjuices, breads cereals, avocado, veggies. Coffee and tea free all day. Really clean, so much value for money. If you book a taxi back to the airport check out first what other people planned (because everybody books a taxi you can share rides). Far from everything only for layovers.

Well ... you may not know that Lima is airport with almost non-existing pre-security waiting areas. So if you arrive late night and your flight departs in the morning, what should you do? There is an expensive (and not very good) hotel right at airport or much better choice: Pay Purix Hostel. I stayed there several times and I a was always very pleased. All staff members are such a nice people ready to help with all your needs. People staying in hostel are mostly backpackers so if you are one you can enjoy to share and exchange experiences with others. Hotel is clean and safe. There a places to buy food around and/or having nice inexpensive meal.

We stayed here as a one night stop over. The common room was great with TV, internet, pool, fooseball and nice music. The dinner was incredible. Dinner started at 6 and had a range of options. We were there at 10am and unfortunately we couldn't get lunch at the hostel. We were advised by our taxi driver to avoid leaving the hostel as it was a rough area, so we had a nap and waited for dinner. Free breakfast was a wide range of food inc cereal, fruit, bread. Facilities in the room were basic but clean, we had read about electrical wires over the shower head and there were, so we avoided showering. We wouldn't advise staying here as a base for your trip to Lima, however as a layover it does the job...very close to the airport however if you have a morning flight traffic is terrible so leave plenty of time to get there. Also pre trip, arrange with the hostel to have someone pick you up from the airport, if we did that we would have saved ourselves $18SOL.

I spent two nights one in a private room, one in the dorm. Overall a good deal on the dorm and fair deal on the private.
Lots of fresh fruit for breakfast, no protein however. Stores and such in the area and a great staff and clean. I would return on a stopover for sure.
