My wife and I spent a few nights with this hotel. This is one of the hotel from its group and we had spent almost over 15 days with this group of hotel when we traveled through cities of Peru.

They treated me with my 1st birthday cake in the morning before I left hotel for site visiting. It made a very good stay of the day for me.

Even though it might be noisy before 10:30 p.m. as it is next to teenage bars and clubs if you side of room is close to that side. After than happy hours, it is fine.

Staff was so helpful from booking restaurant to taxi. The service is very good and safe for tourist.

The interesting thing is the driver need to backup into a one way narrow pathway to drop you off with luggage. It is a little adventure that started your trip.

Room Tip: stay away from the pathway

The hotel’s location is just excellent - 30 seconds walk from Cuzco Main Square, but at the same very quiet and peaceful. The hotel’s style and interior is very sophisticated.
The room was spacious, enogh place for all your personal belongings. The bathroom - very good.
It might be very cold at night in Cuzco, so in the room there were extra blankets, and even an electric heater!
The staff was super helpful! At the first day when I arrived to Cuzco I had a terrible altitude sickness. The hotel’s staff brought some oxygen for me and I felt much better!

The breakfast was really good.
And a great addition to all this is that at the hotel’s reception you will find hot tea (coca tea and some other) - for free! They serve it 24/7 for free.
It’s really great when you return to your hotel in the cold evening and you can grab a cup of hot tea.
By the way, they also brought bottles of still water every day to our room, also for free.
Great service! Great value for money!

We stayed at this hotel twice whilst traveling through Sth America and were not disappointed on either occasion, our first visit we stayed 2 nights as we were held over in Lima for 1 night with aeroplane problems, when we arrived we were offered coco tea to help us with the altitude and given directions to some of the great sightseeing in the old town. From this location you can walk everywhere and safely. The hotel organised transportation to the airport for the next leg of our journey. Our stay the first time for 2 nights was excellent.
We returned to the hotel 3 weeks later and the service hadn’t changed it was still excellent, the breakfast at this hotel is very good, we had another 2 night stay and on the day before leaving we were told that a big protest was being organised and that it would be beneficial for us to leave the hotel at 5-45am for the airport before the city was closed. We had an early flight so this did not worry us, we were so grateful that the hotel was on top of this and got us to the airport and not locked down in the city .This is an excellent hotel with the location close to everything.

My husband and I decided to come to Peru and hike the Inca trail. We stayed at Tierra Viva the day before our hike and the hotel stored our luggage with them until we returned. When we got back the luggage was already in the room which was hassle free! The location of this hotel is amazing. Right next to the main square with plenty of restaurants. I highly recommend Ceviche and Inka Grill ( both 2 min away from the hotel walking). The hotel also has breakfast included, it’s not to large of a selection but good food! I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to be close to the main square and a nice clean place to stay.

I thought this hotel was a great value and recommend it if you are looking for a good clean place to stay without paying top dollar. It’s clean and comfortable and very close to the plaza and within walking distance of many of the attractions. As mentioned in other reviews there is an adjoining bar that gets loud. The name on the place says restaurant but it’s a bar. Each night we were so tired it didn’t bother me. There’s no elevator and getting up to your fourth floor room is a good introduction to how the altitude affects your breathing.
