Lovely and great location. Loved how it an old Spanish Mansion. Beautiful details inside. The rooms were nice. The breakfast had a lot of options. Had best dinner in Peru at this hotel!!! Was the prawns and red rice! I highly recommend!

The property itself was originally a Spanish colonial home made of the traditional white volcanic stone that the city gets its name from. Like the property the service was exceptional. This is a must as a base to explore the “white city”.

Hotel is located in a very busy narrow one way street where traffic never seems to stop. However, we could not hear the traffic from our room. Hotel appears to be a major renovation of a former Spanish mansion and the Spanish influence shows throughout its decoration.
Our room was very large, clean and well maintained with in-room wifi.
Hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Areqiipa’s main square and shopping precinct Plaza De Armas.
It is also located at few minutes walk from the Convent of Santa Catalina.
The Museo Santuarios which houses the Inca frozen mummy “Juanita” is also located within walking distance as the museum is near the Plaza De Armas.
Water pressure in the shower was not the best and breakfast was mediocre.

The hotel was originally an historic mansion so has loads of character and history. Beautiful entrance and covered courtyard with lots of comfortable seating. Nice bar area and excellent pisco sours! We had a large room on the third room with a rather odd layout. When we checked in we were upgraded to a small suite but the seating area, which consisted of a sofa and set of shelves faced a blank wall. We used the sofa for storing clothes because the hanging space in the bedroom was so small, two jackets took up all the space! We had no view from the room but the bed was large and very comfortable with so many pillows we didn't know what to do with them all. The breakfast buffet was good and could be eaten either in the restaurant or outside on the patio area. The service here was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome during our short stay. No complimentary water in the room.
