Whole exploring the area and looking for afternoon cocktails, we consulted TA for recommendations. Goza looked good and.was good for a cocktail a beer and some food. I had the steak sandwich and a Tom Collins. My husband had the bolonese and a beer- no bourbon was listed on the menu.

The food was good, the Collins was very very lemony.

We saw more Gringos than locals - to be expected because the prices are a bit higher than the usual Cuenca fare.

The place is clean and bright, the staff is friendly and efficient.

We will probably return during our stay.

Food at Goza is very good but a little expensive. The location is perfect. I enjoy eating outside because I can bring my dog.

The eggs benedict was great and really appreciated after two weeks of eating scrambled eggs and croissants elsewhere in Ecuador. The pancakes with fresh fruit were also very good! The tea with artificial sweetener offered was a nice touch after having access to straight sugar only previously on our travels throughout Ecuador. The fresh squeezed orange juice completes the perfect breakfast package! A suggestion to management would be that they add chai tea for those of us who aren’t coffee drinkers and were going thru withdrawal from the lack of access to chai tea. If this option was offered this coffee shop would be absolutely the most perfect breakfast place! This is a must stop for those who are in need of a touch of home and really good breakfast food !! We also had lunch here, burgers and fries, which were okay but nowhere near the caliber of the breakfast. For lunch other restaurants in the area would provide better food options based on our burgers and fries order.

We’ve been to Giza twice in 4 days. Their drinks and coffee are excellent. Their pancakes are flavorful and fluffy. Great restaurant for s relaxed meal or drinks.

We ended up here after our original place was closed. It was a great happenstance, we had our food out on the patio and it was delicious. Perfect for a Sunday brunch. I had the pancakes and my mom had the eggs Benedict both of which were delicious.
