we spent three nights in total at this hotel. The location is approximately 1 hour (when its busy) from the airport and 30 minutes from the old town centre. This is a very modern hotel. Rooms are spacious with lots of room to sit on good sized sofas. ensuites are also modern and of a good size. It has a luxury feel. The reception was very helpful. The breakfast is excellent. The restaurant is also very good (although not cheap) with a varied menu. Our only gripe was the air conditioning in our room did not work and we had to move rooms in the middle of the night. Give the staff their due, they were very cooperative. We slept in the room next door and moved back to our own room in the morning. We didn't find noise a problem as some other people have mentioned. All in all a good experience. Close to the botanical gardens, the Opera restaurant next door is also good. US$5 for a taxi into the Old Town.

The staff was very helpful in this tiny hotel. They helped us come up w your plans. In a nice part of town near Carolina park. Far from old town. We were there just one night Not sure what else to say.

They let us stay in room and check out at 3pm as we had a 5:35pm flight out. Very cool upscale room design.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for leaving your review on Trip Advisor! I am glad to know that you enjoyed the kind service delivered from our staff and the personalized service.
Le Parc Hotel is located on the main business area in Quito, near restaurants, parks, shopping malls and only 10 minute walk away from the Quito Tour Bus which takes you to the Old Town, a great way to know the city!
It was a pleasure adjusting to your itinerary and personalize our service as much as possible.

Hoping to see you on your next visit to our beautiful country!

Kind Regards,

We stayed at Le Parc on 3 occasions while travelling in Ecuador. The first room was excellent, the bedroom was large, clean and well equipped. The second room was even bigger and equally attractive. The last time we stayed our room had an added attraction of a bath in the amazing bedroom, as well as the well equipped shower room.
The restaurant was very good and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was reasonably priced and very well presented.
We were particularly impressed by the staff on the reception. Not only did they speak very good English but they were so helpful, drawing maps and making suggestions where to go to buy the best Panama hats. They could not have been more friendly.
This might sound strange but check out the toilets in the reception, they are an example of how all toilets should be, I almost took a photograph!
My only adverse comment is please change the lift music!

Room Tip: I think that all rooms are good but the upper floors are further from the traffic noise.

All of staff were very friendly always smiling and could not do enough to make the stay a Happy one, all staff spoke perfect English which was helpful as we speak NO SPANISH ha ha. We stayed there twice both rooms were large with settees and very large comfortable beds in both, If I had a choice it would be rooms ending in 3, although one night there was a party in a near by establishment which could be heard in room 3, but but did not give us too many problems, go for 12th floor for best views. The showers are large, walk in and clean in both rooms. The restaurant produces food of high quality, breakfasts had a wide range of food for all tastes, with some of the best Ecuadorian coffee we had all holiday. The evening meal was of such good quality we did not bother to look else where although there are several establishments. They are happy to book bespoke trips for you at reasonable prices, the equator lineabout 40 mins away, and the rain forest 2.5 hrs away, on a clear day from the Sky Bar you can see the Smoking Volcano in the distance. The local bus to down town only takes 15 minutes and costs 25 cents an experience not to be missed, but only out of office hours. The hotel recommended a taxi but when in Rome do as as the Romans. Quito feels very safe but make sure you have important items out of view and in front, the same as any major city. We did not use the Spa the facilities.

Room Tip: High floor and rooms ending in 3

My partner and I stayed at the Le Parc Hotel as part of an Intrepid Tours package to the Galapagos Islands, that started and finished at this hotel. We also booked an extra night here at the beginning and end of the tour.

Check in was very efficient and we were allocated room 1202, one floor below the Skybar and facing the street. The room was quite generous in size and well appointed, with two very comfortable king single beds, excellent linen and four pillows of varying firmness. The bathroom was also a good size with nice toiletries.

I think the best attribute of the hotel was how they did the little things so nicely. In the lobby, delicious fruit teas made with real pineapple and cinnamon, and apple and blackcurrant, as well as iced tea and cold water with slices of citrus were always freely available. They also had some snacks to go with the drinks. We were given two free bottles of drinking water daily. Free Wifi was fast and reliable.

The concierge was always friendly and helpful, booking an excellent tour for us to hike up Mount Pichincha (highly recommended if you’re fit enough to climb at altitude), taxis and restaurant to sample the traditional guinea pig for dinner (not recommended as it was expensive at $33 USD for a whole roasted guinea pig with relatively little meat).

The included buffet breakfast was excellent. We could order freshly cooked eggs with multiple condiments for omlettes. Freshly brewed barista coffee was quickly brought to the table and freshly made fruit juices were on tap. Offers of hot foods were changed daily and the choices of fresh fruit were varied.

The restaurant was also excellent value and quality for dinner, relative to some of the other restaurants we tried in Quito. Only once was a fish dish somewhat dry and overcooked, but all other meals were perfect.

The only complaint we could have was about noise, which otherwise would have earned Le Parc a 5 star rating. Some noise came from the repair works on water pipes in the 13th floor Skybar, but that ceased at a reasonable time. Unfortunately there is little noise insulation between the 12th and 13th floor and earplugs were required to block out footsteps. The hotel very properly offered to move us to a different room, but we had already unpacked and made do with earplugs. Luckily for us on the 12th floor, there wasn’t too much street noise, but others on the 3rd and 6th floors heard cars honking and car alarms going off during the night. This problem could be mitigated with double glazed windows.

Room Tip: Bring ear plugs - you'll need them.
