We stayed here a couple of nights before and after our tour to the Galapagos islands and loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice, the shower was great, very good breakfast and we had excellent wifi. Nearby the hotel you can find restaurants and even a supermarket. At night the area is quiet (not like when we stayed in the plaza foch area a couple of years ago, there we heard always a lot of noise). Recommended!

This is a quaint, character hotel in the new town of Quito with very helpful staff. Rooms were little small and "creaky" for our taste but it is certainly an authentic Ecuadorian experience rather some of the bigger chains close by. About 15 min walk to the trendy Marsiscal district and its many restaurants.

Beautiful, quaint, picturesque hotel in a quiet area, 10 minute walk to Plaza Foch. Easy check in, comfortable room, really powerful hot shower. Good breakfast served by the delightful Maria. Danielle at reception speaks good English and is very helpful. Highly recommended.

A lovely little hotel (26 rooms I think) with great staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble, excellent breakfasts, superb wi-fi, comfortable rooms and excellent showers. Convenient for the Mariscal but quiet, a supermarket 100m away, a nice little museum 100m in the other direction, 15 mins at most to Foch. Highly recommended.

Stayed here 1 night. The hotel looks very authentic and this is one of it's only pluses. Take into account that the 3 floor hotel doesn't have an elevator and that Quito is located at the high of 2900 m so even if you are not too old climbing the stairs can be a problem.
The room is quite simple and include in addition to the bed that doesn't leave much space between the wall and the bed a tv set with many english spoken channels that is the best thing in the room..
Any noise in the hotel will enter the room. Very small bathroom with 2 fly doors that doesn't close completely.
There is safe in the room and the room is clean and stuff are friendly.
In the close area there are coffee shops, bars and restaurant.
Breakfast is served and is basic: fruit, granola, toast, cheese, eggs and freshly made juice and coffee or tea.
Nearby there are couple of hotels including large ones as the Marriott and Holiday inn.
