The hotel is right in the centre of town. The first impression was "oh my God...what did I book" but then I was very pleased. Very, very nice hotel rooms and nice staff (allthough certainly some have to be tought how to smile once in a while!). The breakfast is very good, great variety and fresh fruits! Had room service the first night...not overwhelming but there is lots of restaurants, supermarkets etc. within walking range. WiFi good. I would certainly choose this hotel for my next trip to Santiago as a parting point for my trips to the south of Chile.

Room Tip: They told me the best rooms are in the first 8 floors. Couldn't test it. Mine was on 7th floor.

Ok, let's be straight here, this hotel was probably great in 1960 but it just hasn't been maintained since then. Things don't work, it took even a couple of hours and someone from management to figure out a lock for the safe in the room. Inside the place looks more like a construction zone than a hotel. It's pricing is at par with modern hotels in bellavista but it's worth nothing. Oh and the service... It just amazing how they ended up charging is 3000 pesos for a bottle of water the manager gave us as an apology for being in a horrible room. This place is not even worth $10 / night. Do yourself a favor and I you are paying for a HOTEL, stay in an actual hotel in Santiago.

Dear guest;

We thank you for your words at TripAdvisor. Obviously the situation you experienced with us was not the best, and we deeply regret every single incident you had. Be sure that your case has also been completely analyzed and corrected to avoid such unfortunate things to happen again. We are very clear of our mistakes, and, if possible, on any new visit you may have, we will surely live up to the standards we have met in other cases.

Our every best.

Good hotel, well located in central Santiago, two blocks from the La Moneda Palace and adjacent squares, 5 minutes (walking) from the subway station and 3 blocks down the street Ahumada, where there are many stores and restaurants. It is also possible to walk from there to the Central Market (Mercado Central) of Santiago. It is also close to several exchange boots, although the best quote I got from the dollar has been in the hotel reception.
The hotel has rooms a bit old, but we had no problems in the room we stayed in, in terms of infrastructure, as the bedroom or bathroom. The bed, incidentally, was very good.
The breakfast, served in the restaurant. at the 2nd floor was good, with some typical fruits and juices, coffee, milk, tea, and some variety of sweet and savory breads.
Anyway, it corresponds to a reasonable cost-benefit ratio.

We enjoyed our stay here, although due to us not being fluent in Spanish we did experience a few communication issues with staff (which was our fault, not theirs). The location was good, however as a young couple we probably would have preferred to stay in a district with more pubs and restaurants (but it was only a 5 min drive away). The room was suffice, with a nice bed, pillows and a mini bar. Couldn't have asked for much more! They also have a Starbucks attached to the hotel and breakfast included in the room rate.

asked for a pickup from airport to hotel, service confirmed (as nod refundable service) but nobody comes. freezing room without the possibility to turn on the heating system. no hot water in the shower. nobody well speaking english. laundry service lost a pair of sockets. ridiculous wi-fi service.

really poor and dirty environment, not even the plate of the room service was clean!

Room Tip: look for other hotels!
