We stayed here for 10 days this past month.

Was very happy with choice of hotel on our 1st visit to Santiago, Chile.

From reception, breakfast staff and room staff, all very friendly and helpful.

When English was a problem at reception they used Google translate and really went the extra mile to help us.

We had a few early mornings and arranged with reception for some fruit in the room because we will miss breakfast.
This was no problem for them and we got everything we asked for.

This location is perfect in downtown with lots of tourists attractions in walking distance and two supermarkets, right underneath hotel.

Hotel reception also helped us with booking our excursions and all went so smooth.

THANK YOU

The room had a great view and a decently equipped kitchen, however, the devil is in the detail, of which I have plenty to share.

The living area was freezing at night. Despite having the heater constantly on 26 degrees, I was shivering by 8pm, and eventually had to buy an extra heater in a supermarket. There was no iron and no hair dryer, so I had to buy an iron too.

The towels in the bathroom were filthy: faded greyish colour and covered in brown spots. Had to buy my own towel as well.

The hotel provides free breakfast. The breakfast itself is OK, but the service is inconsistent and slow: the omelette normally arrived about 40 minutes after the starting time, coffee appeared at various times, sometimes 15 mins after the beginning of breakfast, sometimes there was no milk. Most annoyingly, staff kept chatting away in the kitchen instead of preparing and serving coffee and food.

Extraction fan in the kitchen is not actually connected to anything. It blows the hot air and steam into your face through the cupboard above when cooking. The knife was blunt, and there was only a stove-top kettle that took ages to boil.

No staff including the receptionists could communicate in English.

Our staf, at the kitchen, need to communicate each other to make their work possible during the service. I´ts imppossible (and seriously rude, to make them not to speak at all.

All the others subjects (towels, heater and iron), could be explained (and even fixed) by our staff, if only you had asked us directly. We speak English.

To be human it´s not to be unprofessional.

Thanks for your comments.

A few cons and few pros.

It was a bit difficult to find the hotel because we went to the other RQ nearby.

Hotel staff was nice and gave us the room 2 hours before check in time. Room was small but the city view was amazing. Bathroom and bathtub was extremely small.

Our booking was of a room with full kitchen but we dint get that, as i loved the view i dint complain about the kitchen which i should have.

Bed was comfortable, just one side table, no trash basket in the room, just one trash basket in the bathroom. No refrigerator or water kettle, no iron and ironing board in the whole hotel means you cant iron anything at all.

Bathroom was extremely small, it was impossible to shower in the small bathtub. Water got burning hot if one was in getting a shower and the other was using water from the sink.

Internet speed was slow in the room but just outside our room there was a chair, i used to get good signals there.

Breakfast was nice.

Location was perfect, near subway, near city center, banks, atm, restaurants, departmental stores, everything was on walking distance.

Pool was closed even though it wasn't winter season, it was hot enough for a dip.

Taxi service was right on time on our way back.

Noise level was average. We could hear music from the streets till late night but it wasn't unbearable to sleep.

We used this hotel for 2 days before a cruise from San Antonio. Whilst the hotel was not obvious from the start from the street, it is in a secure location and is clean and comfortable. Very close to the city centre and the presidential palace. Breakfast was good and plentiful

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It was good value for money. The pool was closed however as it was no longer considered high season which was a shame as we as Brits still felt 27 degrees was warm enough for a dip! We asked the hotel to book us a taxi to take us to the airport which they did. Unfortunately, the car did not arrive and we were told it would be 35 mins late so we decided to book an Uber instead, this caused some unexpected and unnecessary stress although it was not the fault of the hotel but the cab company they are using!

We are sorry about the failure in the taxi service. This service is not under our strict control.
