We needed a place to sleep for one night in Santiago and with a slow Internet connection, we had little opportunity for deep research. The Novapark seemed to be conveniently located for sight-seeing on foot, reviews were good, and the price attractive. When we arrived, we were pleased with our choice. The place seems brand new, with everything in pristine condition. The large bed was comfortable, though the pillow was uncomfortably high for me. Water pressure was great, and towels surprisingly large for a bare bones hotel.
Which this is. We weren't surprised at the lack of a hot pot for coffee or tea, but we were surprised to find no chair for the minimal desk. I asked, and no chairs are provided. Apparently that desk is for decoration, not use. Maybe the hotel isn't quite finished and sometime down the line chairs will arrive.
The staff went above and beyond to patiently help us arrange transportation to the airport the next day. We felt comfortable leaving our luggage in the check room while we walked around town, then chilled in the lounge for a couple of hours waiting for our ride.
Since breakfast was not included, we didn't eat there, so can't rate that. We did appreciate the morning coffee. The WiFi was free, but slow. The NovaPark is a great choice for people who just need a place to sleep with no pampering.More
