This hotel is in the heart of the city very easy to reach supermarket, restaurants, and the lake walking.
Main desk is not 24/7 so you get a key to enter hotel after 10PM. You can also use the kitchen to store items in the fridge or even cook some rapid meal.
Staff was very kind and provided good information.
The price compared to other places in the city is very good but you need to pay in cash.
Also take your toiletries with you.

We booked this for a quick week trip to Pucon. We knew the Volcano had erupted recently and our activities would be limited, but still wanted to see the area. Its very hard to find good consistent reviews anywhere in South America. But rest assured, booking here will be a good choice. It is very close to town. Very small, only six rooms. We had the Lion room. While there wasn't much of a view it has a wonderful rustic feeling that made us feel right at home. The bed was one of the better that I have slept on in 3 months of South American travel.
But the ultimate bonus of this hotel is the management. Everyone, especially the owner Rafael, go above and beyond. We were there during the off season, so more often than not, it was just us at the hotel. Our first night he left us his personal cell and apologized for not being around due to the season. But he checked in on us regularly. The breakfast is awesome and had some of the better coffee I've had in a long time. And eggs.....I can't even say how awesome it was to have fresh eggs.

Overall this is a highly recommend from us. Rafael is the man and runs a great property.

What a wonderful place to stay, for a week or a couple of days. Friendly, warm and stilish, the wooden rooms are simply magic. A very helpful staff and, last but not least, the tasty and rich homemade breakfast prepared by Nelita will make you feel at home. I strongly suggest the Lounge Brasil!

The good
Great location- one block away from the main ave with all the restaurants, shopping, and tour agencies.
Room-I stayed in the flamenco room. Love that it opened up onto a courtyard. Wasn't connected to the main building. Shared a wall with only one other room. Felt very private. Bed was comfy. Great linens. Had a chair I could sit in... nice to have somewhere to sit other than the bed.
Breakfast-hands down the best I've experienced in my two months in Argentina/ Chile. Fresh fruit. Fresh juice. Toast and eggs. Surprised how good it was. Another nice touch--if you're climbing the volcano, let them know and they'll put a breakfast tray in your room the night before so you can eat breakfast at 530am before you head to the volcano.
Staff- very friendly and helpful.

The bad- bring or buy your own soap for the shower.
Shower is pretty small. However it sure beats having a shared bathroom, so I really can't complain.

Felt it was a great value. I felt I was getting exactly, or more than, what I paid for. Stayed for three nights.

Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Solo travelers-- the flamenco room!
