We chose this hotel having stayed previously at the villa Samadhi in Kuala lumpur(an excellent place). We only discovered by chance that it has been bought by new owners and renamed Labrador Villa
It was pretty dreadful
Met on arrival at the hotel by the night watchman, who had not switched on the inside lights and whose English was very poor, creating confusion over the dinner we had ordered.
The room was dated and missing light bulbs, the windows were dirty and shabby, in need of paint.
On arrival at breakfast there was no buffet as had been advertised...and for some minutes, no staff either
The promised 50mbps did not materialise until I chased it up.
We were charged Samadhi rates, for a stay in a hotel that needs a complete overhaul of both the buildins, the grounds and the staff.

Extraordinary secluded place in the middle of a park nearby the harbor. Colonialism at its best, the house used to be the base of the British commander. Rooms are beautifully decorated with much attention to details. Outstanding service. Expensive but worth it. Rare.

The villa samadhi Singapore had stop operating, now the new hotel name is Labrador villa.

The are no more spa in this villa, but i manage to find the bio electric meridian therapist, he's now station at Hug in the spa. Located at 133A Amoy St. #02-01. A cosy relaxing nice spa.
