Good stacation destination if you have small children as they have lots of activities including an outdoor pirate ship the kids can play in and multiple pools, a good breakfast and a kids club called buds by shangrila (you need to pay extra for this but the kids loved it). They also have a lovely poolside resteraunt. It keeps the kids entertained.

Even though our trip was short, We experienced the greatest vacation in Shangri la singapore. The place was great! So clean and the fragrance was my favorite.
Everybody was so helpful and kind.
Your filipino employee, Carlos was the sweetest! Helped us in everything , made sure we were always on track with our trips and stuff. Loved the people! Will visit again.

The Shangri-La is an excellent 5 star hotel from an older time. Wonderful staff especially Ravi Navin from the pool cafe.
Expensive but very good value.
Highly recommended.
Little has changed here in the last 30 years - still excellent in every respect.

We had our travel agents book our family summer trip to the orient - Singapore was the first stop. We chose the Shangri-La due to its location and reviews and were not disappointed - probably one of the best 5-stars we have stayed at. We were a family party of 8 and had 4 paired rooms on the 22nd floor - to share with the kids. They were large, spacious and well appointed. Book marks with historic quotes and fresh water daily were a nice touch. Breakfast was unreal with over 10 boutique food court stalls to chose from. We were out all day so did not stay inside too much - although coming back from a day out to the calm, cool and beautiful organic interior was blissful.
It is one of the older hotels in Singapore but we felt it was in great condition. The pool we tried only on the first day was nice - for kids there was less to do there but we weren’t at this hotel for the pool.
Location was great and the front of house team were very polite and got us taxis to our destinations very quickly. A nice feature was access to the Horizon Club Lounge on the 24th floor in the evenings (kids allowed any age Weekends only) for fantastic complimentary taster foods, drinks/cocktails and a fabulous view! The kids also liked the Lambo and Roller parked outside as well!
Really impressive 4 night stay before we moved on. Would stay again - highly recommended!

Awesome family friendly hotel for all with kids under 12. Buds and Splash is guaranteed to bring lots of smiles. Unfortunately, the hotel has the worst wifi we’ve experienced in a long time. The room service is over priced, junior nuggets 12 SG $ and chips 11 SG $.. unexpected when marketed as a family hotel. The lobby has delicious local fare as well! Family room wasn’t able to get late check out despite trying to arrange in advance which was disappointing
