This was an amazing stay. We arrived very early and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who catered for all our needs. He showed and explained to us how to get to Universal and off we went on the complimentary shuttle. As platinum members we were offered an upgrade to a suite. This was amazing. Huge bedroom and bed to the left of the entrance and a huge lounge / study / dining area to the right. The complimentary platter and wine ended a lovely afternoon. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks in le-bar, where the bar man again catered for our every need. We had dinner at the 'lecliffe' restaurant. Whilst it was not overly busy, the staff did seem rather rushed off their feet. There was one lady who seemed to be doing everything. We waited a while for a menu and a couple of drinks. The food was delicious and worth the wait. That being said we received an apology and discount off the final price without us even having to say anything. The wait wasn't that bad as we had the gorgeous view from our table overlooking the beach. The hotel seemed to have everything to keep you occupied - great pool, complimentary shuttle, pond whereby the fish nibble at your feet, informal and formal eating areas. The scenery and settings are just perfect for a relaxing drink. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide range of foods to chose from. If i had to have one niggle, it would be that we were not offered coffee on being seated at our table. I did see others being offered it though, so we could have maybe got the waitresses attention. It was just as easy to get your own though. Aswell as an early check in we requested a late check out - 6pm. Again the hotel caters for this need and provided us with a luxury garden room for the day. This was especially needed to relax and shower before a long flight to the UK. All in all we can fault the hotel. We go to Singapore quite a lot and usually stay in mainland Singapore. Not any more, we will definitely return to Sofitel and make Sentosa island our base from now on. Thank you very much to all concerned

First staycation experience was a bit of a let down. There was no turn down service on our first night although the staff redeemed themselves on the second night with birthday decorations and wishes. However, the buffet breakfast spread was excellent although service could be improved. And we thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and massage at the spa.

We had our wedding lunch reception at the Straits Ballroom and we must say that the team was amazing and thoughtful. Joni was on the ball and took genuine interest in helping us with the wedding. Special thanks to Pop and Shafiq for helping us sort out any last minute problems we had :) The stay at the suite was also lovely and the spa was a nice way to end our stay too :)

Thank you! <3
