This is a small resort just outside El Nido town. It is very clean and tidy, although one of the pools was closed for refurbishment while we visited.
The staff are all excellent as was the restaurant. We opted to eat there every night and enjoyed the food on offer. The breakfast menu is brilliant
We would not recommend visiting during the rainy season as Palawan sits out on the South China Sea and has no protection from the incoming monsoons.
The only real down side for our trip was the short tricycle ride from town to the resort along a waterlogged, potholed track. It was an ‘experience ‘ as the drivers drove expertly and safely.
There is a barefoot policy for the dining room and bedrooms so we recommend taking flip flops to wear outside
The island hopping boat rides are really the only things to do there if you are not a diver and they are well worth the money as the scenery is spectacular, although they could be quite busy in high season
Overall we had a lovely time at the resort and El Nido and would recommend staying at Cadlao ResortMore
