I think this review also reflects El Nido town in general. I pictured a perfect beach outside our hotel but I didn't realize that El Nido Town is just a place to stay when you are not doing an island hopping tour. In front of our hotel is a beach that is unswimmable due to the countless boats there. The island tours are wonderful ( tour A and C) but if you want to just frolick on the beach, I would recommend staying in Orange Pearl Resort in Marimegmeg beach ( if you're on a budget ) or Lagen Resort ( for those who can afford expensive hotels ).
The staff in this hotel is wonderful though, always prompt and attentive. Breakfast was delicious but can be improved because the choices are limited. It would be good to have pastries and yogurt too. If you're bent on staying in El Nido town, this is the best hotel.

Our experience at this hotel was terrible and the hotel in general was in very low quality. The pool was dirty and the filter was not running and the people at the reception showed very little effort to fix this. The hotel is located right next to a construction site which ruins the surroundings. The beach in front of the hotel is disgusting and spill water from the hotels is led right into the ocean. The only upside in this hotel is the view during sunset and the pool table

Whatever you do, don't stay here. The pool filtering system is turned off so the water was getting green with algae. The beach is absolutely terrible. The sewer runs out right in front of the hotel so it stinks on the beach. Besides that stray dogs run around and use the beach front as their toilet.
The electricity went off several times a day and there is only very poor internet in the lobby.
They are renovating some of the hotel so be ready for a lot of noise.
Only positive thing was a run down pool table we could play at.
I'm sure you will be able to find something better !

Positives:
- helpful staff, easy to book tours through them
- delicious breakfast
- amazing view over the pool and of sunset
- great location

Negatives:
- construction work was very noisy and woke us up about 6am each morning, we weren't entitled to a discount because we didn't book directly through the hotel which was frustrating
- water suddenly turned off mid shower, took a long while to fix it, had to go to reception in a towel to get them to hurry up haha
- quite expensive for what it is

We were troubled with this Hotel when booking it, the reviews previously were very mixed.

The good thing about this place are two things.

The staff ( apart from Chinese management)
The view ( which is stunning)

Everything else need to be improved significantly, from the breakfast, lack of restaurant,wi-fi which does not exist.

One thing that needs to change immediately are the Stupid rules, get rid of them

Room Tip: Wait a while before booking as in a years time it may be better. But not yet. .
