Location: away from El Nido crowd but it's difficult to walk from the hotel to the town as it's muddy especially when it ☔️.

Room: It was plenty of room to walk around but be very careful the bed edges because we bump ourselves several times from the edge corners of the bed.

Breakfast: it was okay but not great (the chef doesn't know how to make a simple omelette.

Overall: I gave 4 stars ratings for the room and the staff but not the location, though the hotel has a great view it scary to ride the tricycle at it felt like it was going to tip over due to the road.

Myself and a group of friends (4 of us total) shared a Twin Garden Villa Room for three nights in March and all I can say was I'm very happy I "accidentally" stumbled upon this resort during my search. From our pre-stay until check-out, we are stunned with the service that has been offered. I got in contact with the owner, Michael, regarding having 4 people in the room and sure enough, he accommodated us with a very reasonable price. The room itself is very cozy and also had enough space for four women. Everything is nicely done and set up. Free breakfast is also included in the price. Their dining area is very nicely situated wherein guests will see sunrise/sunset and the Bacuit bay. Soon they will have a generator and swimming pool and everything will be perfect.

I was not accommodated at the resort, but I visited the restaurant.

Food was delicious, adequate serving, good price. I can highly recommend the local paella.

The staff are friendly and always available to help with the selection of food,

The restaurant was always clean and quiet with spectacular ocean views.

We stayed in The Nest 4 great days. Great location facing the sea, large and very comfortable suites, very clean and well maintained!
The owner and staff are very friendly and attentive, promptly taking care of every request or need. We traveled to the city many times with the hotel transportation, only 5 minutes from center. Nice breakfast on the beautiful viranda facing the sea. We loved The Nest!

The resort is located into a quite difficult are to get to, next to a cemetery - and you although the resort offers free tricycles rides, in reality unless you have a local phone, end up trapped in unnecessary long wait and expensive international call to go back at night - the standard tricycles are too large to fit the path you need to take to get to the resort, so you're dependent upon the resorts' transport. To walk to the hotel at night is not a pleasant walk, because of the lack of visibility in the street.

The resort excels for the high standard of communication with the customers, and generally the service and attention to customer is quite good and very thoughtful.

Breakfast was served extremely slowly, and the variety and quantity was really poor. The property has huge improvement headroom in this space.

The resort is still under construction, and hope they'll have a swimming pool and jacuzzi for their guests, to compensate the inconveniences of the location. The room was pretty and functional, although not beach-front - think only one room is beach-front.
We purchased an excursion with the resort directly; we were looking for a genuine, not-massified experience. Lamentably the experience was not at all what we were expecting, hoped the concierge could have assessed better our requirements.

Hello folks. My apologies that you did not get to enjoy your stay with us. We send out an email so you are aware of our location so you are aware of how to get here. The advantage of our location is that we are away from the town and it prevents outside tricycles from going in and out of the area.

There are plus and minuses to this as it makes the road clear for less motorist. As you can see a village is next to us with many children, so we do like that it vehicle passage is limited in our area. That is why do offer free tricycle rides for mots parts of the town and also pick up from the bus station and airport which no other location does without a charge.

We also provide phone numbers to you so that you can call us. I understand that you don't have a sim card which you could get for free in many local stores in town and in the Philippines but we also advised you ahead of time to ask a business that is near you and they will gladly give us a call on your behalf. We have had many guest do this and the local El Nido people are very generous and helpful and will call us so that we can pick you up.

We understand it can be an inconvenience to you and hope to others who read this it can add to the adventure a bit. We are only 10 minute walking distance from the main town and we will be working with other owners in the area to light and pave the road to town in the near future.

We offer this service up to 1 am in the morning so that we know you that you are safe which every other location in our area shuts down at 10 pm, no exceptions.

We apologize again for our service in our restaurant. We just opened a few weeks ago and are training everyday to get our staff up to par with the rest of the service of the resort. We hope you understand this as we are a new business that opened 5 months ago.

As for the excursion, we offered both shared and private tour options which where you can avoid most of the crowds and we gave both pros and cons to each excursion.

We will be setting up a swimming pool starting June and we will be done by August. We will also be extending the resort towards our back area and adding other components in the future.

We hope you give us a chance again in the future and make it an above average to great stay.
