To the owners I say thank you.
This place is bliss . (Jan2018)
I stayed in pretty much all the standards and levels of accommodation over my stay.
I loved them all, as did I the food and staff.
Can’t recommend it more highly- it rocks!
The English man.

Quiet and peaceful, awesome spot isolated from the chaos of El Nido main beaches. The food is good, the people kind and smiling, free boat tours around the islands are available every day. If you are tired of the beautiful beach right in front of the resort (kayaks available), you have also the swimming pool in a beautifully kept tropical garden. Enjoy the silence, the nature and the marvelous location, really the best in the whole area (don't miss the sunsets!). Don't expect a fancy place without soul, like you can have everywhere else: electric power is not working during the day and internet is slow...but come on! Open your eyes and look in which paradise you are!!

Room Tip: Don't miss the bungalows with sea view

If you are looking for a quiet place, with no noisy bars or streets around, with a great view to the sea under palm trees, then Dolarog is the place.
The location is just amazing. You will reach there after a short boat ride from Corong Corong beach (10 mns), resort is incredibly facing the majestic rock of Pinagbuyutan, and you will spend your time taking great pictures, especially at sunset.
I would have put 5 stars rating just for the location and Deluxe cottage seaview that is just great.
The resort offers as well a great swimming pool (with sea water) long enough to enjoy your swimming, pool, ping-pong, and table football [highly appreciated by my teenagers].
Price includes breakfast and dinner + everyday island hoping (which results quite interesting when you are a family) proposing the same circuits than in town.
Food is good, however it would certainly deserve more local dishes, especially grilled fish for example.
WiFi only available at reception area and frequently poor, but not really surprising in Philippines :)
We chose a standard duplex cottage for kids, and the room was quite average, so if you decide to go to Dolarog, do not hesitate to chose the Deluxe cottage seaview :)

Service is Ok but staff is often indolent and lacking efficiency which might result irritating sometimes, but we should remember that we are on holidays after all.

In a nutshell, Dolarog is a great place to stay... but go for the right room

Room Tip: Deluxe cottage seaview / probably second one on the right when facing the sea :)

We walked the entire stretch of las cabanas beach and at the end we continued walking to the left side. Resort is isolated and sort of a sanctuary. No public road access but resort staff will pick you up at Corong corong. The resort is a nice
Look out to the Pinagbuyutan Island (Lagen el Nido Resort). You can eat at their diner too if you are just passing by

A pleasant. quiet resort with accommodating, friendly staff who were capable. Room simple with comfortable bed, clean, good towels and toiletries, and a verandah. View to the west is great for sunsets. Ample breakfast and dinner included in room price. The food is not gourmet level, but much above average compared to most beach resorts in the Philippines. Drinks and sandwiches for midday reasonably priced. They provide boat transport from Corong-Corong and were reliable both coming and going. Island hopping boat trips provided for no additional cost. These were good, although I was disappointed by the damaged coral reefs and I would say the snorkeling was okay, but not spectacular. Electricity by generator at night and they had ceiling fans which were adequate and never turned on the aircon. Good value for money in the Philippine context. Since only reachable by boat, it is quiet at night. WiFi available but speed is mediocre, but really, you are at a beach resort.

Room Tip: Go for the seaview cottages in my opinion.
