Puerto Galera is crowded especially if you go there during the peak season and if you want a nice place you have to book at those resorts far from the beach.

Mendelluke is right on the beach but away from the busy crowd. It's right at the edge of the cemented path at the far end of the beach. You can swim just right outside or have a massage at the beach yet still feel that you have a bit of privacy. Restaurants are nearby so it's easy to grab a bite. Also there is cheap alfresco dining at the resort (not owned by the resort) which serves breakfast as early as 6am.

Rooms are basic but cozy and clean. We got the beach front room right on the ground floor so we have a view of the beach at our patio. Towels are provided, pillows are a bit soft and thin, bathroom is basic but clean. Room is airconditioned with a ceiling fan. A flat tv is mounted on the wall and there's a table for two at the corner. There's a small wardrobe cabinet tucked on the corner.

Plus: location, rooms, wifi

- there's an alley beside the resort that goes to the homestays at the back. Some of the passersby are quite noisy so this might disrupt your sleep
- cable signal is not that strong, and has limited channels

Overall, I will recommend this place and will stay here again.

It was actually my boyfriend who booked our room with Mendelluke. We arrived earlier than the check in time but we were able to go inside the room immediately. When we got there i loved the room especially the Veranda which has a good view of the beach in the morning. It's just sad that they dont offer breakfast but the staff allowed us to borrow coffee cups everyday. The WIFI is good. The place is near with the bar, resto and shops but the noise are not heard on the rooms. Definitely will suggest to other friends!

Room Tip: Suite room are the best. You have a veranda where you can smoke and have a coffee

Staff were wonderful, very helpful, very willing. We arrived 4 days after big typhoon hit on Christmas Day, they lost the roof on their building but were still able to accommodate us in a family room on ground floor. Power out in entire area but they had generators so we were comfortable. They really went out of their way to make sure were taken care of. Room clean, mattress very comfortable, A/C worked fine, right on beach, short walk to great restaurants and nightlife, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. Only complaint is no screens on windows so had to run A/C due to lots of mosquitoes. But they gave us some spray which we sprayed when we left room, so no more mosquitoes when we returned. Very nice place, would stay again.

Room Tip: We had family room on 1st floor for 2 of us, lots of room to spread out our things, especially shopping and souvenirs.

Enjoyable stay on White Beach away from the bars. Stayed in the suite, with views of the beach. The room was large and clean and AC worked well.

Last day we stayed typhoon Nina hit White Beach. Received text informing us that it was on the way and that all ferries to Batangas were canceled. The warning was much appreciated. Stayed another night and even though the hotel was damaged from the typhoon the staff could not do more to help.

Definitely value for money and would have no problems recommending.

We stayed in this suite for almost 2 weeks month of July. We stayed in two of their rooms. The superior room (one on the photos on the balcony) and the deluxe room, one of the rooms on the same building.

SERVICE: unfortunately they do not offer breakfast, which would have been very nice. However the helpers are very attentive. They do not instantly give you your room needs (toiletries, towels, and new sheets) but you can always ask for it.

FACILITIES: The room is quite simple, functioning air conditioning units though, and the place has enough distance away from the busy night bars. If staying on the bungalow (superior room) it's really quiet.

We originally booked 3 days online, but since it's not the peak season and they have an OK service and location. We ended up staying at their place for two weeks.
