Step on the slippery stones pave, pass through the busy tourist street with cafes, art-word peddlers, paper-cut artists, turn to a quiet lane and finally, you stop at the red-bricked two-story hotel with a heavy natural colored wood door and flowers and ivies crawling on the wall.
Push the door and get in, you are met like a friend. Yes, it's not the standard hospitality, but a friend nicity. The natural and fresh aroma from flowers every corner, the pale-cyan tile here and there, the bird-cage in the inside courtyard, the winding corridors, all tell you, now you can be relaxed.
You enter the room, you like the small, nameless flower on the window, and the books on the shelf telling stories about and around Nanjing. Wood, brick, tile, cotton, stone, delicate teaware and refreshment, and flowers everywhere, it smells natural, you feel natural. You know you will have dream in your sleep, not the big, splendid, adventurous or successful dream, but a quiet, peaceful dream which you probably won't recall at all.
You got your privacy and tranquility, yet you expect to meet someone and share your feeling by having a still quiet tea. You expect some stories, here, it's the place
