Yes the staff are dour and the rooms are small, but what you get is a clean place to crash that is right next to a MTR station that is one stop from Central for a great price

I especially like the narrow room with a small window because when i close the bathroom door I can make the room totally dark (and quiet). Perfect if you party till 3am and need to have an undisturbed lie-in

Stayed here for a few nights during Chinese New Year, paid about $230 /night. There is nothing to celebrate about this hotel except the location, which was central. Inside, the standard double room was not much bigger than the bed itself and had as much personality as a bowl of cold porridge. The bathroom was likewise minuscule. The place seemed to be reasonably clean, except there was a door opening onto a small patio where there were a bunch of decaying cigarette butts. The digital key-card to get into the room was faulty. The shower head was faulty and sprayed onto the ceiling. The mechanism for switching between the overhead and hand-held shower heads didn't work. The digital keypad light-switching mechanism for the room was otherworldly and infuriating to work out. There was no breakfast :-( And....finale....the reception staff were nonchalant.

All in all, there is nothing stylish, cosy, boutique, or modern about this hotel whatsoever. It's a place of last resort to put your head down, like a hostel room, where you pay considerably less.

Bad customer service. Rude receptionist. Unable to cater to simple request. Room has a lot of defect. Bed sheets rather poor quality with stains. Dirts on walls and cowweb in toilet. The only good thing about MOTW is the proximity to Sheung Wan MTR station. Only 20steps or more to the entrance of the subway.

I have booked a single room, where I found a single bed with a tiny corridor. Condition of the room quite poor. Breakfast is not available at the hotel. The good thing about this hotel it is only location, quite close to the MTR. Next time I would look somewhere else.
